Honor system is so stupid dude

Literally spent months and months trying to climb back from honor level 0 back to 4, AND AFTER MONTHS OF SAYING NOTHING TO PEOPLE, SUCKING UP TO THEM JUST TO GET HONORS, PRETENDING NOT TO BE ANGRY, ONE CHAT RESTRICTION IN A GAME WHERE I GET THE RARE OCCASION OF HAVING AND INTENSE IN GAME MOMENT, I AUTOMATICALLY DROP BACK TO ONE (LOCKED BTW). Apparently that means even if I somehow managed to pull gold v out my ass by the end of the season, I GET NOTHING. I've been anticipating the rewards all season just to find out the skin was another egirl skin. Oh, at least if I reach Gold V I can get- Oh wait! I have normal functioning emotions at a game that's infamous for it's angry player base? You're toxic, no rewards for you! What is this sjw crap? I have no reason to even TRY to play ranked till next year, since I get NOTHING out of it. Not to mention pre-season is the most pointless and annoying thing ever every year for this game. You shouldn't base your "Rewards" on someone's "Honor Level" (Not even actual proof is someone is toxic or not)

That's why you take breaks. Know your limit.

As for the honor system, it's just fine. Might be harsh, but it's a good thing to enforce the policy in ranking. So people can stop disregarding people and play the game. Honor rewards suck and toxic players could care less about other people's feeling as long they get the LP and the rewards. That's why the honor system is good on impacting Ranked.

You are really telling us that you've been consistently mildly toxic (certainly not keeping quiet and sucking ass) or you've had a recent outburst of moderate toxicity. In which your punishment is kind of deserved.

You need to find better ways of handling your toxic behavior. As long as you don't let your toxicity get expressed in chat or in actions in game, you're fine.

Scream at your screen. Take a walk after the game. Eat some ice cream. Find that thing you need to do to not let the toxicity get the best of you.

"Normal" for you. Doesn't make it normal behavior for everyone else. The majority of players don't get so much as chat restricted, because they're capable of withholding or diverting their anger in ways not disruptive to the game.

Honor Level isn't a perfect display of one's behavior, sure. But that doesn't mean it shouldn't be used period.

Rewards are available to players who are baseline Honor - Honor Level 2, and I'd say that is perfectly fine. Dishonorable players should not be rewarded. If they get the same prestigious rewards as everyone else, then - why even try to be sportsmanlike, if even dishonorable players and jerks get the same exact stuff?

Besides, it's not like this whole deal - losing end-of-season rewards due to being punished near the end of the season - is any bit new. It's been like that for the past few years, with or without the Honor System. Riot has virtually always stripped dishonorable players of their end-of-season rewards, the big difference here being that now it's more consistent and understandable than just "don't get punished by a certain date".

I’ve said this once and I’ll say it again. TRYING TO GET HONOR FOR THE SAKE OF HONOR LEVELS ISNT HONORABLE. Most people I know who are honor level 5 just got it by being chill like 90% of the time. When we got it we weren’t trying to get it, it just happened.

If you can't play a competitive game without raging and being toxic to people maybe you should go play something a little more on your level like fortnite or Minecraft.
