So this is in violation of what? Telling someone who was being toxic to shut it is toxic in itself apparently. TY

EDIT: I know none of you really care but, it is annoying to have rewards taken away and to have your account looked at "Toxic" when you are defending yourself / others or have a few unkind words to another unkind fellow. That is what is unjust.

game 1 is me arguing with 3 other ppl and is me being kinda rude. but you arnt able to see the full chat so its 1 sided. but i guess i could if u really want

When it comes to your punishment, the only chat that matters is your own. That is why Riot only shows you what you say, because you are only responsible for your own actions, not the actions of others.

When it comes to defending yourself, the proper way to do so would be to mute those who are verbally harassing you and then report them if you feel necessary. If you start harassing them back, then you are not defending yourself, you're just attacking back.

As for this particular game, there's really only 2 instances of negative chat I see.

and

For the first one, there are better ways to tell someone to shut up, such as asking "can you please stop?"

As for the second piece, asking for reports against someone else is not wanted and considered harassment as it is completely unnecessary. The system doesn't go by the number of actual reports, but rather the number of reported games, and all it takes is a single report to flag a game. Any extra reports beyond the first really don't anything more. If you want someone to be reported, just do it yourself.

I wouldn't say this game is completely worthy of a punishment on it's own, but it has been stated multiple times that this game is not the only one the contributed to your punishment. You need to post the rest of your chat logs for us to get a better understanding of the situation.

Again, fair enough on the first portion but the second piece is not info many of us know I mean i been playing for years same as you and remember when we didnt have this auto ban system? Your point is fair but i will not post the other game as it was not apart of the initial discussion and I dont want to discuss it with anymore rude people. The info is nice ty but the point is fire + fire shouldnt = a bigger fire right?. Both players getting banned gets dosnt fix anything so IMO reports should be negated by other reports.. if 2 people argue in a game and they report each other the reports should get dropped as it was between them. Some situations where ppl have friends and can get more reports on 1 person should be looked at. Thats just how I feel and I personally will never see this system as anything other than harmful to player attitude. To some it may help tho

Often times if you already are on the brink of being punished and someone reports you for saying "go whine somewhere else kid" the system will additively push you over from my understanding. Its like having a full glass and adding a few mililiters more: they aren't much, but on top of the rest its too much.

Because THIS game isnt the only thing that led to you getting punish. I dont get why people assume that because they only show you 3 logs that means only those 3 logs is what caused you to get ban. They probably have every single reported incident, but they only show you the last 3 (recent) games. So while one might look ok, its not the point. Its the point that you are constantly getting reported because you are toxic in your games!

Sugar coating it, or claiming that this game is the cause of your ban isnt going to help solve the problem and just shows you have something to hide! Also please stop using the praise "Defending yourself" You have nothing to defend when its all text and from complete strangers. You want to defend yourself? Mute the person and end the problem right then and there. If they have broke the rules report them after the game. Misusing the chat just to berate everyone on your team or the enemy team does/solves nothing. You only make the situation worse and deserve a punishment as such!

You have no clue nor should your opinion on "You only make the situation worse and deserve a punishment as such!" effect how situations like these are looked at. Just because you have this opinion shouldnt just put an end to everyones own personal situation. There is 2 sides to every coin and you should look at both.

Its like me saying right now because you said im being toxic in games you should get chat banned too because you shouldnt have called me toxic.

Except for the fact that I know you were toxic in more than one or even three games. The report system doesnt work how you assumes it works. You need to try really hard to get punished. Ive been playing for close to 6+ years. Ive never once gotten any type of punishment or warnings on my account! Im sure ive been reported, but i know for a fact its not for toxic behavior! I look at every side of the coin especially for these types of situations. And i just dont get why you feel the need to even acknowledge trolls/toxic people in this game. Its such a waste of time, let alone you are playing a game which should be your main concern, not someone throwing a temper tantrum over a damn video game. Let this be a warning for you. Just mute people. if they break the rules report them. If something gets that bad by all means take a break and cool down. Dont lash out in chat especially since it solves nothing!

If you want to discuss your punishment here with the community, it would be better to post all the chat logs you received, not just a single game. While yes this particular game isn't that bad, with only like 2 lines of negativity, it's not the only game that contributed to your punishment.

It's completely just. Whatever those guys did can be solved with a quick mute/report. Defends you and your allies with no repercussion.

Flaming and being unsportsmanlike gets you in trouble whatever the reason. Even if you try to, as you say "defend yourself/your friends".
