Player Support doesn't actually make changes to the game, we're more here to help you with how it exists currently. If you want to start a discussion on how you would change it, I encourage you to. My main account (this one) was permanently banned for a game where I try to lead my team to victory despite the fact that they wanted to give up, refused to work together as a team, and called me horrible things throughout the entire game. Eventually my patience was worn down and I decided to get a little angsty, giving them a mild dose of their own medicine.

Game 1 In-Game Ryokishine: pretty much can't all-in without exh Ryokishine: yeah i mean you're pretty much fucked. Ryokishine: wouldn't matter really. Ryokishine: you'd get like 4 extra cs. Ryokishine: doesn't matter really at this point. Ryokishine: i need to hit 6 and roam since you're a farm-fest now. Ryokishine: AKA - cya Ryokishine: yeah i don't care Ryokishine: my presence isn't gonan save you Ryokishine: may as well get someone else ahead. Ryokishine: i'm not useless, she's just so behind that all she can do is farm. Ryokishine: real. Ryokishine: im getting a turret Ryokishine: please shutup Ryokishine: why would i help him dude, he said straight up Ryokishine: he's gonna farm for 30 mins Ryokishine: there's no reason to be there for that. Ryokishine: you literally need to let the turret fall Ryokishine: and free farm. Ryokishine: i'm reporting the 4 of you for queeuing together and expecting the 5th person to just listen to everything you say. Ryokishine: uh yeah, that's a thing. Ryokishine: but okay. Keep in mind, this was Years ago. I just want my account back, to be honest. This was wrong. The system has failed me I feel like. I know others have felt this way, too.

Had these players not treated me so horribly, I doubt I ever would have been banned... Alas, the system completely ignores the context in which infractions occur, and good people get banned because bad people won't simply leave them alone.

Yes, the argument exists that the /mute all and /fullmute all systems can be used to alleviate this stress. However, as a good team leader, severing all communication with one's team is a great way to lose the game quicker. One could also argue that you could leave their pings unmuted, but oftentimes people will even use those to flame and harass others for the smallest mistake or misstep.

Please Upvote this if you agree that the context of the situation should matter more when it comes to Chat Bans and Suspensions.

I've been informed by Riot Iron Wings that there's nothing Support can, or will, do in scenarios such as this. It is wrong, and he said that as the Community, we need to ask for this change in order for it to come to be.

Let's do this so that good people stop getting banned for responding to the overwhelming toxicity from bad ones.

But in this case, you're ALL bad. The premades were bad, and you were bad.

I have to say that I don't really agree, on the basis that context only matters in VERY few cases (and that does not include yours).

Those cases are better dealt with after the fact.

And a good leader recognizes when to speak, and when to be silent.

While yes, in most cases more communication is good, you also need to understand that pointless arguing with your team is going to lower your chances of winning, more significantly than the hit you take from just muting and playing to the best of your ability.

Also, it's quite ironic that you complained so much about the premades commanding you around, while also being so quick to appoint yourself team-leader.

If you've been permanently banned, it means you have a history. Sorry, you're one of the small percentage who thinks they're right all the time and lashes out at everyone who doesn't agree with you being in charge of everything in the match.

The only context that matters is this - ignore idiots and play the goddamn game. The 8 other people in your matches don't want to hear you and the other guy have a pissing contest.

Let's stop here and look at this. There are a couple of lines in here that are… not good. That said, I would argue up until here you might have gotten away with it.

So why do I stop here? Because everything past this point is no longer about defending yourself. Everything past this point has nothing to do with the point you make about protecting players that are harassed, or with your point on why you don't like muting people because evidently you did do it.

Past this point, however, you:

  • Called the other players morons and assholes, while calling for reports
  • Made fun of their "bronze leadership"
  • Called one of them "grandmaster douchebag"
  • Continually blamed them for various things
  • Called into question one player's ability to have friends

On top of that you repeated zero tolerance phrases, which may be a minor thing, but is a guarantee for the game to be flagged (if you are reported).

So... what do you have to say in defence of all that? Because nothing you say really explains this part of your chat log.

I doubt this is your first punishment, as you can't get perma'd off of that. Calling someone a douchebag after two (or one) previous warning(s) means you didn't learn from the punishments. It's not okay even if you're playing around with their name. That'd be like me calling someone with the username of 'Austin' an autist because I thought it was funny. IFS bot doesn't understand humour, and it definitely doesn't seem like humour was what you were going for here.

"Good people" stop getting banned... I get you were no Adolf here but none the less this was your 4th offence I imagine. How many do you want? Or do they just not ban people. You realize we all deal with bad players right? Today I had an ezreal die 3 times then go afk in a ranked. Note that the ONLY thing said to him was by the support (not me) was you need to chill I am assuming she was talking about his engages.We were also doing well in other lanes) Then I had a bot lane die 4 times in 5 mins. I said nothing, though I was annoyed to all hell. By 7 mins it was 3/17 and they were at our inhib turret....

My point is that if any person like you for instance in those matches started flipping shit while I was already dealing with everything else. It is a huge pain in the ass to me knowing, you could be helping more instead of typing to whoever the hell the problem is.

I mean we aren't blind we know the guy thats 0/17 is bad we don't need you to announce it. It does not matter who started it what matters is you became a NEW problem on top of the existing one. I do not understand why this is so hard to grasp. That is literally the reason why they do not CARE who started it.

I'm with you Ryo. Those chat logs are definitely not perma worthy in my book at all but the truth is that it's more lucrative for riot to ignore context, and let their robot perma people while they swim in money. It takes a lot of man power and money to thoughtfully review games properly and they simply don't want to spend the money.

My advice to you is to not bother posting on this board. You won't find any empathy or understanding. It's just an echo chamber full of rioters in disguise, riot fanboyz, and snowflakes who got their feelings hurt that just agree with each other and shit on anyone who questions their "perfect" system. It's everything that's wrong with the internet today and another perfect example of why the league community fucking sucks.

Also, look at the match history of all the people flaming you in this thread (ironically the same people telling you not to flame lmao) and you'll see these people hardly even play ranked games. It's all one big joke.
