I dont understand... Bans have to do about how bad u flame or about how many reports u get? Is there a way to calculate how many reports are needed for a chat ban?

How bad the toxicity is, and how frequent it is. Report number does not matter.

Why Flamers THINK they Get Away With It

Fixed for you.

The system does work, but it just does a horrible job in letting you know it's working.

Currently unless it was that you reported them in was the game that got them punished, else you won't get to see a notification. If they got punished in their next game, you'll never know.

The system is based on:

  1. The report ratings of the players (i.e., the people filing the reports)
  2. The accumulated evidence against the player. (Did the player have multiple reports in one game? Over a series of games?)

So, yes, it does work.

What if all the games you've been playing where there was no flaming, was when you had players who were chat-restricted on your team.

And the games where you had flamers, are just soon-to-be chat-restricted players?
