"Kill Yourself"

Recently, I played a match where I was the only one winning lane, but I did very well. Nearly 1v5 their fed team. Only losing the the low health 5th guy. This was 5v5 both premades

We had a Leblanc that was certain we would lose. A Quinn who thought the same but I changed her mind, and an ADC Ahri whom believed me when I said we could win. Our 5th guy dc'd for a bit (to eat) so he wasn't in the vote.

Getting to my point. I went 32/5/14 as Fiora vs a Trynd top, he clearly didn't know the matchup. Now the reason I couldn't really assist my team is because I accidentally brought ignite instead of tp (not too bad on Fiora, especially against Trynd) And I couldn't really roam because of Trynd's pushing.

Okay so I managed to carry the game through shot calling and murdering their team. Was difficult. At the end of the game, their nunu and galio said screw you Fiora, and kill yourself.

Now I'm fine if I'm called any sort of insult. But no one should ever intentionally tell someone to end their life. That's going too far, I understand how frustrating it must've been. But that should make no difference.

I have pictures, but they're on my phone, unless anyone knows how I could show them

Best thing you could do is just report them for verbal abuse or unsportsmanlike behavior. The anonymity of the internet allows people to say some pretty grimy insults. Not everyone shares the same moral views as each other.

I knew this comment would come. I'd say I'm rather thick skinned, but again. Telling someone to end their life is something you should never say.

At least with no context whatsoever. It's too aggressive for random strangers, but it should be a perfectly legitimate method of humor with very specific circumstances.

I mean, come on, how many times have you heard or said 'go jump in a lake'? That's not telling someone to go swim off frustration; that's telling someone to go drown themselves because a LOT of people don't know how to swim.

This excuse is insanely over used and terrible. Just because you're hiding behind a computer does not mean you can just treat people anyway you want.

I have a short story for you back in the old days when I used to be a toxic summoner myself. I once had a duo of 2 flame me in game, they took it to the extreme added me post game saying they were going to kill me etc, and we're in the USA Navy Seals and were going to beat me up.

I'm 6ft2 and played Football Rugby Hockey(a little bit) Lacrosse(a little bit), for 5 years respectively(spanning difference seasons and ages) nearing 200 pounds. I also took MMA and Muai Thai in my lifetime I'm not great by any means at it but I'm certainly not afraid of anyone.

They said they wanted to Skype me, so they could see my face and come get me. I said "sure" I added them on Skype and voila.

It was 2 15yr old teenagers that immediately freaked out when they saw my size, started begging me to not hurt them and nearly crying.

They added another friend who tried to act like the tough guy (He was also 15 and I could probably literally break his arms in half)

I laughed for about 5 mins solid of pure hard laughter then deleted them all and blocked. Forever my perception of kids on League was changed that day.

Motto: It's just kids on League, it will never change, they are usually just saying things because IRL they have to shut up for fear of getting manhandled like a ragdoll so they talk tough behind a screen where they can use a fake persona and vent because their parents aren't giving them attention, or someone said something mean to them at high school that day. Don't take anything they say seriously

That was a great story, I won't ever listen to their idiotic comments. But that doesn't mean someone else won't listen and end up permanently altering their life and the lives of those around them.

I agree it should be that if you say certain sentences like "kill yourself" and it's found to be made as a threat people should be instantly banned, but obviously Riot needs to make money so who am I right

No I do a planned Chest Tricep workout, Rest day, Planned Biceps Shoulder workout(these are very meticulous workouts with planned sets and machines and target muscle areas and biomechanics) Then I take a Rest day, then I do Legs(Box Squats, Dead lifts etc) I do try and incorperate a Core workout in Leg day and one a week for on the elliptic or for a run. :)

It unfortunately does these days and these people are the worst. It sucks but there is nothing that can be done. We can't name a shame these peasants or we get in shit, all we can do is report them and hopefully the system will pick them up. Hugely underwhelming

My GF who suffers from depression and low self esteem has harmed herself in the past. We've been in matches where our/their team were so insulting and toxic to her it made her slip into the hole so to speak. I've seen people insult her, tell her to kill herself, tell her to slit her wrists, say she's a slut, say she's not wanted, and more than I care to type. People have said "this is the internet" well that doesn't excuse what's being said. I've had to spend 30 minutes to an hour trying to calm her down cause she broke down crying and was saying they were right. This is a game we play to have fun together and spend time with each other. We report them but more often than not nothing is done about it. Someone will take things to heart one day and they will end their life because of the people in this game. Who knows it may have already happened and we just don't know about it. Remember everyone, words have more power than you think they do.

damn man sorry to hear that. I personally just mute everyone on my team including pings every game. League definitely has a shitty community and i hope this wont dissuade you from playing league in the future

We still play but I have to keep an eye on her in games whenever shit gets toxic but we still love the game and are always looking for new people to play with.

You can't mute people in post in game chat. Although you could leave as soon as possible

It's unfortunate, but there are always going to be people like this in video games regardless of how strongly they are moderated. The best you can do is send that picture to Riot via a support ticket and hope the guy didn't take it too seriously.

How would I send a picture via phone?

You'd have to upload it to your computer via USB, OR you could send a picture message to yourself on Facebook and save it on your computer from there. There are tons of ways to do it, but you'd first have to get the picture from your phone to your computer. I imagine you could send it to something like TextNow and save it from there, also. Just a few ideas.
