Account being banned.. not 100% why and how...

Okay. Someone please tell if this seems fair to you.

Im truly Confused. 5 years ago my friend and i shared an email for games, our local game store etc. We created an account on lol to try it out. I told him he could play first and try it out. He didn't enjoy it so i gave it a try. I really enjoyed the game. SO i started using that account . This was 5 years ago as i said. I was 11 at the time. Im now 16 and have been playing since. Ive spent countless dollars on this game. not to mention TIME. Last weekend, my friend got a hold of my password from a really old email account he some how remembered and logged onto my account. I had no idea of this , and when i logged back on that night, i was welcomed to a 14 day ban. I then contacted Riot Support, hoping to resolve things. I think the Support player was "Mama Meep" who contacted me. It seemed as it was going well. Then they wanted to clarify on what i had said which was " the original owner logged back onto the account and got the 14 day ban". I thought this was just to help. I then received an email saying that my account that i had put so much time and money into was now PERMA BANNED. i feel sick. Im fairly certain i'm perma banned for "account sharing" which isn't true. The last time that my friend( were not friends anymore, haven't been in 4 years) logged onto the account was when we BOTH created it with out shared email we used for everything. 5 years later i'm now being perma banned??? Someone please help. At this point i don't even care, you can give xXValenciaXx a 14 day ban or more. But a perma ban?Thank you that isn't fair. . I really don't deserve this...Ive been supporting this game for 5 years, paying for rp, playing games, recommending it to people etc...

See thats the thing i didn't. My friend and i SHARED a GMAIL account, but that was it. we created the account and then we stopped being friends. He gave me the email because he stopped playing games/ any other thing related. So, i played on the account that was mine in the first place.

Multiple players used the account. Ban deserved.

He literally played one game on the account at lvl 1 lol... That doesnt deserve a ban. The account wasnt shared tho.. its completely different

Right i get that. But we didnt SHARE the LOL account. We shared a gmail account, which was used to create the LOL account. I created the LOL account myself. I then changed the password a few months later. Just last weekend he figured out the password for our shared GMAIL account from 4 years ago which had MY lol accounts updated password. If anything was shared it was the GMAIl account.

Again, find a rioter. Keep talking with support staff if you were banned for account sharing, go get compensation from your "friend"

If you feel your "friend" was the reason for your account ban, take it up with him. get him to repay you for damages done I mean riot support will do their best to understand your side, but they do have strict rules

then go talk to riot support and tell them your account was compromised. We as the community can't do anything for you.

i mean how stupid you need to be to tell riot support that your account is not exactly yours ?

Just try to tell Riot Support your story , tell them the email was shared but the account wasnt and hope they will unban you

I did! all i was trying to do was explain that it wasnt me who was toxic in game ;/ It came out wrong, thats what im telling the person whos helping me. but i created the account. With the shared GMAIL not shared LOL account. He some how found the old gmail and the info and logged on without me even being close to knowing he still even knew the GMAIL ACCOUNT info. If anythings against the rules its the shared gmail. we were 11 years old ;/

sharing e-mail is not against the rules. The fact he logged onto your account and played the game is against the rules.

Tell them your account was compromised against your will due to shared e-mail account ( not against the rules ) and to give your account back , all you can do mate sadly i dont think you will have succes but trying does not harm you so give it a go

Exactly bro. But why do I have to get punished? I did nothing wrong. HE logged onto the account sneaking behind me and snooping thru an old email we maid YEARS Ago and finding the updated password

Nobody here is a rioter or the support staff we can only give you our best guess.

In my opinion open a support ticket goto a rioter Tantram is always good at these see what they can do for you

You are responsible for actions done on your account , you did not change the password/email , this said its your fault. I told you what you can do other than that the account was shared so the ban is deserved your only chance is to tell riot your story and maybe they will understand but im 99,999999999999999999999999999999999999999% sure they wont give a fuck

I would've reset the password, emails and everything man, or just made a new account separate from that 5 years ago. Actions have consequences, no matter how late, or who it affects. Sorry man, this stuff is between Riot and you.

Man....But i was 11 ._. And i did reset the password lol... with the SHARED GMAIL. he remembered that gmail password and found the updated one without me knowing..

Send another ticket in and explain it how you just explained to us.

You and friend created a shared G'mail five years ago when you were younger (11), you stopped being friends but apparently he still had access to the Gmail.

He got bored and recovered your league account and trolled, they can see how often a different person used your account, they would be able to tell you weren't really sharing it as it is more of a case of being hacked.

I don't doubt you lol, me and my childhood friends have all shared accounts through a lot of games. I don't share my XBL or LoL with them as I've spent so much time and money on both its not worth losing. Doesn't mean they don't try to troll me from time to time.
