Suicide Prevention **Implement Ban System**

Riot,

Something has got to give about the toxicity of players.... It is the worst in ranked games specifically (probably because the games mean more than "norms") but I have had 2 people in one day tell me to go kill myself. They are lucky I'm not that kind of person but what if I was....what if I was on my last straw. I had had the worst day and nothing was going my way and I felt like there was nowhere else to turn than my "friends" on LoL and thats the last thing that ended my night and I did it... I killed myself because someone out of the thousand of players made me feel that bad.

I don't know how you could fix this all I'm asking is to brain storm something. Maybe have it so that if you tell someone to kill themselves that their account gets reset to 0 and they have 0 champions and they get banned for 6 months from playing the game. Maybe mail a letter to the home (maybe they are children) and get the word out that this is happening in games and that something needs to be done. Make it so serious that they won't even think to say it because suicide is such a serious thing. If police found out that that's what happened and found out who those players were then they could probably be charged with involuntary manslaughter or cyberbullying I suppose.. I don't know, I'm not by any means a professional of law. As an adult woman that plays this amazing and fun game; **Something has to happen. **

I think the phrases such as kys are on the same level as hate speech. Both of these forms of harassment call for escalated punishments. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain kys is on the same level.

If you are on the level that a "kys" will actually make you do it, turn off chat.

I hate to tell you but League of Legends is far from a safe space.. A large percentage of the community is toxic and they cannot just ban em all. Some people turn in to respectable players and some turn in to Tyler1. The best solution I can give you is the one that I use. Maximize the size of your chat window scale... Hit enter and grab the corner of it. Then move it all the way dow to the bottom right corner out of your sight. FOllowing this go bqackk in to options and minimize the size of it. Now disregard chat and use pings. Congrats , Your LoL time should now be far more enjoyable !

I don't consider LoL players my "friends". It takes some time, but as one adult woman to another, you just have to grown thicker skin. Especially as a support or jungle. You learn to /mute all. Pings are plenty communication. Chat is a privilege you can take away from your team mates. I completely get the endgame chat thing. The best you can do is report them and specify that the inappropriate talk was in endgame chat, screenshot, and then ask for a Rioter and show them the screencap. I actually was suicidal for a long time. After getting the help I needed though, I've simply learned the mute whoever is being a shit. There are people in the world who want me alive and talking. If that "team mate" is gonna tell me to kill myself, then I will be vocally dead to them. And never help them again (or try not to). No more ganks, no more heals, no more chat. They better act like you all need each other. You know the saying about "not knowing what you had until its gone" or something like that. Hope he bought health regen/wards.

Yeah telling someone to go kys is bad sure, but If losing a league game was the last straw you have different problem. Plus I don't think riot should try to control speech so harshly that if you say it once insta ban or try effect people's real life for what they say in a game.
