Can I get reported for muting my team the begginning of the game for "not communicating"?

I think we all know this game is full of toxic people and will always be full of toxic people. I rage, you rage, we all rage. Moreover, the toxicity tilts everyone on the team and gets players to not focus on the game. So I plan on just muting everyone every game, but I'm not sure if I can get reported for not communicating.

Nope, that's what the ping system is for. You don't have to say a word in game.

nope, you're good

No.

It's not exactly the wisest thing to do, but it's not technically against the rules. You should still consider it a last resort, though, but some people do it to manage their verbal sparring a bit better. People like me who have a bit of a temper do it on occasion, admittedly.

You're fine.

Technically yes you can. It's against the summoner code. However I never heard of someone getting banned for it so I think you are safe.

I guess it can be considered unsportsmanlike, win or lose, i dont think it's a priority ban.

Technically they could give you chat ban and it would look the same.

You can ping to communicate another way, but if a Riot staff looks at it, you would have to appear AFK or not involved to be sort of in the range of getting some sort of penalty.

Can you get reported? Technically yes (you can report BS anytime) Will you penalizes? Unlikely, under the radar honestly.

No they took away the refusing to communicate report option because now we have pings. Maybe if you never ping, never go with team, and never use chat, it would all add up to being punishable. But simply muting all is fine. I have a friend who does that but he says in the beginning: "nothing personal, muting all to prevent my own toxicity"

Likely not I mute my entire team a lot of the times especially with the amount of toxic players like come on... Im sitting in a duo lane with a ADC who is half afk playing worth shit, our jungler runs in and intentionally tilts a already losing but going okay lane, I ask them why they would run in since they know I have no CC bot lane, and then our mid lane comes in and trolls doing the same shit throws me harder makes it unplayable... So basically long boring loss and I /mute all and avoid their baits into trying to make me say really mean things to them...

I mean refusing to communicate could be ban worthy? But so is their toxic trolling when they know their behavior is unwanted and I don't want to hear it so by all means do trade reports lol? And I think Riot would rather players mute ignorant players than rage in chat.

I mean I honestly try and don't like to turn off my chat but sometimes its best to keep from raging );.

No. Being silent during the game is fine.
