LOL ILLEGALLY LOADING SCRIPTS ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR BANNING

cattailwind·2/19/2017, 9:28:58 PM·2 votes·6,075 views

Here is the story.. trust me its absolute. The only way these two separate accounts could be banned is either they are guessing or they are loading a cookie script outside of the game on your computer... no other way to gain MAC address banning. Here is the letter I replied to LOL. I for one won't have this. Computers are not observable by either my government or by some hack job LOL software game. Beware!

Ok.. read this fully and pass it on to management. Your full of Bullshit. We have one computer in the house for gaming. Two accounts on it. Cattailwind and jojoblackbelt. Last week my 13 year old son gets a notice saying his account is banned for 3rd party adds. BULLSHIT.. he doesn't have any nor has he loaded any. Where did you get this information ? Not from him signing in and not from his account. Don't tell me you have any evidence because you F#$%^& don't. Today I was notified my account was banned. Two weeks ago I loaded EloBuddy because it claims it is legal. Since you don't have a list of "illegal" apps I suspected it was ok. Lets get to the facts. My son never had it on his account only me and I had it set up only to turn on when I was trying to figure out what scripting is.. because we ALL know its rampant inside your game. That means you are gathering MAC address shitt and that is illegal in the US on personal computers. YES ILLEGAL. I am a software engineer in the medical field. That would be the only way you would jump to the absolute incorrect idea that his account (jojoblackbelt) has adds. That means that you either lie and take a guess on accounts you ban or you load a cookie script on LOL load onto my f#$%^&* computer to monitor what is on it which would be totally illegal. Which one and don't give me and other gamers that bullshit that you can't tell anyone for your own security. I will run this up as far as I can. So now I have two banned accounts from you pricks with no evidence on what/where/how or why. I will post this on your boards and every board I can find. You are either guessing or illegally hacking personal computers with cookie ran scripts which is bullshit. I sent you multiple, reasonable responses that my 13 year olds account had NO addons and you send be back cookie cutter responses on how it is irreversible... keep your game and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Fellow gamers.. send this out. I am no kid and I've been running software for +30 years. This little experience provides proof that LOL/Riot is up to no good, under the table stuff. I worked in the US military with this same BS underhanded crap... if it smells like BS it is BS. They will never UNDO your account suspension because they "can't tell you how they came to their conclusion"... yea right.

Seriously? I took 5 seconds looking at the site and noticed they run botting/hacking/scripts with that. Of course they'll say you won't get banned for it, you don't take their word for it you have to use your head. Sorry man, you screwed yourself there.

I recommend checking out these two articles for guidelines on how to determine what apps/mods are ok, and Riot's stance on 3rd party apps;

so, first of all, when you load up the game, the game scans your computer for illegal programs, you dont have to actually load up the program to get banned, you just have to log in to a computer that has it installed.

no one needs your mac address to actually ban you, if your son logged in even once while elobuddy was actually installed on the computer he was also banned.

anyway, you are wrong about what league can and cant do. Blizzard set the standard with warden, an anticheat software that not only scanned all installed programs, but also your ram, and window titles, and everything else on your computer. they went to court and it was found its legal for them to do it in order to enforce rules of their game.

anyway, good job getting your son banned for no reason. lol.

If you spend 30 seconds looking at "EloBuddy" you realize it's a platform to run scripts.

Both of your bans are accurate.

You cheated, you got caught, your mad.

Maybe next time not cheat?

Way to get your kids account banned for being a cheating asshole btw. Parent of the year.

Why do people toss around profession claims on the internet as a crutch for their argument? If people think you're wrong, it just makes it look like you were lying to make yourself look big. If people think you're right it doesn't mean anything since they would have thought you were right through the argument anyways.

If they're on the same computer there's a high chance that 'Elobuddy' runs stuff in the background, which means it would also run in the background while your son plays...

There's a list of allowed 3rd party apps tho. It's not official but there's a rioter comment and it's not hard to find it

If that's the case, I have a bridge to sell you.

Third-party application are, by default, black-listed from League of Legends.

While Riot might not punish players for certain programs, that is always subject to change if the application is updated or policy is modified.

You don't use third-party applications. Full-stop.

You used EloBuddy, get banned nerd

I've been to law school, and I'm a tech engineer for ITT Technical Institute. Simply installing a script (EloBuddy) modifies the League Of Legends folder, making it flagged as Illegal.

this is where you goofed.

Of course they're going to claim they are legal, they want you to use their program. I've seen many elo boosting sites that claim they are legal, which is a joke in all its entirety. Even one where you got to chat with a "representative" where the guy on the chat even claims that they are legit when they ask you for login information (It's hilarious watching these guys try to BS their arguments to get your login info, gives me a good chuckle for the day)

you should have contacted riot and asked them in a ticket if elo buddy was acceptable for use with the game. Sorry to say but this was your fault for just taking their word at face value, which seems like quite a blunder for someone supposedly worked in the military.

Alright mister 30 years 'Murica software engineer. First of all, you agreed to the terms of the application and that lets them collect diagnostic information along with a lot of other non personally identifiable stuff (like your MAC). Secondly, your assertion that this is how they banned both accounts is laughable. Literally hilarious.

Two league accounts playing from the exact same IP address through the same routing, and they deduced they are from the same PC? Clearly this is some next level CIA shadow ops stuff right here.

Finally, you ran scripts despite there being a nonstop and very explicit stance declaring zero tolerance for them. What the hell did you expect?

You're a joke and your post is a joke.
