Usually things like this that don't provide any kind of info on them are bank chargeback "permabans", where something happened with your bank and Riot never got the money for RP you bought. Once the balance gets paid, your account will be re-instated.

Probably a protective ban. So either the system got triggered thinking someone other than you was using or logging in your account or It can also be a charge back ban, so if you've bought anything and charged it back your account is on hold "banned" until they get the money back.

Permanently suspended is different from banned. It usually means you bought the account.

As the others have said, be sure to check the spam and junk folders on the email account associated with your league account. If there was an email sent, it possibly could have been placed there by mistake. If you still have not received one after about 24 hours, you can go ahead and submit a ticket to Player Support, and they will be able to tell you the reason behind the suspension of the account. Without contacting support, there's only so much we can tell you here, as we don't have access to Riot's systems to know exactly what happened.

What we can tell you is that it is NOT due to a toxicity ban from the IFS. Any ban from the IFS is accompanied with a Reform Card, and you would have seen it upon trying to log in, so you know it isn't that. If you haven't done a charge-back, then you know it won't be due to one of those either. I would suspect that it is a potential account compromise, in which case they do lock the account with a pop-up that looks just like a permanent suspension until the player contacts Support. All you need to do is answer their questions to prove that you are the account owner, and they will unlock the account for you. If that is the case, you will want to be sure and change your password, as well as the password to your email account just in case that was how it was compromised.
