Wait, I got chat banned for what?

Hold on, Riot. Be real with me. If someone calls you the N-word for no real reason, then is it ok? No? Didn't think so...

Then why is it okay for the support to call me the N-word at the last possible second in champ select before the game loads? FURTHER MORE, why is it okay for me to get chat banned and for that game to be used as the second "offense" of toxicity? Especially when the bot lane and top lane trio worked together to make my game a living hell and all decided to "report me on false report accusations". I mean honestly, since I knew from the beginning that they were all going to make threats of reporting me, I kept the whole game squeaky clean. I wasn't in anyway toxic, yet I received a 25 GAME chat ban for that? For being called the N-Word? That's honestly unacceptable IMO.

I would post the game logs but I don't see them or anyway to bring them back from when they popped up. This is kinda unbelievable Riot. I shake my head at how inefficient and corruptible/easily abused your report system is. I'm outraged because it makes climbing ranked solo queue that much harder with limited communication.

The chat logs should be emailed to you, in order for anyone to give any kind of feedback if it was justified or not, you'll need to show us that. As for your claim that they called you a slur in the lobby and was toxic themselves, Riot has access to BOTH in-game and lobby logs, so report that player and they will be dealt with.

I honestly doubt you got a chat mute if you didn't say anything wrong and weren't toxic, they don't hand those out because other people are toxic, you had to have done something. But again, we will need to see your logs.

They actually stopped doing emails for bans. Why I'm not sure, just what I've seen. Only way to get the logs is the in game client.

But yes OP, you should post your logs. Never seen a case where someone was actually punished for nothing.

Oh really? That's pretty weird. I wonder why they stopped doing that, maybe a new system is being implemented. I'm sure you can make a ticket with support and they can provide them if for whatever reason they aren't able to get them from their client.

My guess is it's due to the chat logs getting lost in the emails for so many people, especially those with multiple emails who register one that they don't use very much for the game. By not emailing them to people anymore and having them only appear in the game client now (as opposed to before where they appeared in both email and client) people now have a reliable way to view them without fear of losing them.

Plus, it's one less excuse trolls have to not post their chat logs in their threads (not calling the OP a troll by any means, I just mean trolls in general).

They do not send out emails anymore. But if you don't see them when you log in, submit a support ticket.

Yep, that's what I figured, if you for whatever reason can't get them from the client I figured support could provide it.

Game 2 has some words here and there, not that toxic but you did say %%%got and I think that's why it mainly got you (aside from the "report your mom" and the "u guys suk"). I know you're talking about yourself when you said it, but when it comes to punishments context doesn't matter. even if you call yourself trash or repeat something someone else said it'll still be taken into account. (PS: "GGEZ" is unsportsmanlike)

Game 3 however, isn't really toxic, but the problem is you've kept arguing with your team almost the entire game. and you said "N-word" twice and asked for reports, now I won't say that you get punished by saying "N-word" because I'm not sure if that counts, seeing that you got a chat ban and not a 14 day ban must mean that it doesn't I guess. but I'd avoid saying it if i was you, and asking for reports is harassment.

that's Game 2 and Game 3, you said a friend was playing on your account and he got reported, is that perhaps Game 1? You didn't post it so I guess it was.

Keep in mind that sharing your account is a bannable offense no matter what. if you've been found out that you shared your account to someone else than you'll get it permanently suspended (even tho it's most likely won't, but it's better to not share it, just to be safe).

That's just bullshit honestly. GGEZ was because we lost lol. I don't think the algorithm for reports takes into the account of arguing with you teammates. Regardless, it's stupid. It seems people just nit pick anything and point out the technicalities when they can't find CONCRETE evidence. if they really think that that's toxic, then people need to quit being pussies. Honestly it's pathetic if that's the case.

what I'm saying is:

You should've muted them the moment they said anything in the chat and ignored them, That way you would've avoided this punishment.

and I'm not saying you got punished for just saying "GGEZ" I'm just saying its unsportsmanlike, it alone won't have any effect.

And it's not bullshit or stupid. You queued up to enter a game that has an average of 40 Minutes to enjoy a game where you work with others and fight against real-life enemies that takes you skills and strategies to win/play correctly. you didn't enter a queue and join a match to have a flamewar or curse/argue with others. maybe you and the other side find it funny/fine but others doesn't. 2 people fighting or more could end up having a bad experience for Everyone in the game.

and even if it is Bullshit, You have to stick to the rules. you agree to them when you made your account and you agree to them Everytime you queue up to enter a game. everyone has to stick to them.

you asked if it's ok If someone calls you the N-word for no real reason. the real question is if it's ok at all and the answer is of course no.

all you have to do is just mute them and report them after the game. you don't always get notified if your report triggered the punishment for others. I do get those messages frequently tho.
