This will probably be archived or comment disable but I would like to address an issue on these boards. Specifically this one. I posted something asking a viable question about verbal abuse and hate speech. Instead of giving me a solid, "okay, well I see what you're saying and this makes sense, however it cant be like that because or due to blank", I got personally insulted by an Advisor. Then said advisor tried to turn it around saying I was being aggressive, in your opinion fellow board members, is me saying "Your opinion may be too biased", an aggressive attack against somebody? Well to Chermog, this was grounds for them to personally insult me on my post, more than once, and blatantly lie about things I've said and reacted to. Go read the post, its "Where is the line between verbal abuse and hate speech" and actually read the conversation between me and Chermog.

The problem I've found, looking through his other comments, is that instead of being a neutral party, they are an aggressor, and a rage baiter to almost every single post they comment on, and its disgusting. Who are they advising? Because they shouldn't be, and I would like to propose an upvote/acknowledgement boycott on this Advisor. Because honestly, why is someone who only rage-baits people who wanna have a calm conversation allowed to have the power to silence those they don't agree with. Let's hit em where it hurts, its come to this.

I think you're overreacting. I got the feeling in that thread that you didn't have much time for any opinions that didn't agree with you. Assuming the reasons behind people downvoting you doesn't help. You were both worked up - just leave it in the past and move on.

Chermorg can be aggressive in the way he types.

Some advisors take a more conciliatory stance.

For different posters, the differing approaches can be useful. Some need to be told strait up where they went afoul of the standards of the community because otherwise they won't hear. Some need to feel listened to before they'll open up to other perspectives.

I believe that Chermorg fills a vital role in this community.

If you believe that he overstepped the bounds of what is acceptable and would like to converse with those higher up the chain, you can do so on the Discuss the Boards board (where this post should be) or the Moderation Discord.

Well, if I was unsure to your motives before, I'm definitely not now. You were being dismissive of Chermog and actively ignoring or devaluing their responses, and then acting as if it were the other way around. And I read every single comment in that thread as well as discussing it thoroughly with you in said thread.

But I won't be silent as while the rest was passive-aggressive, this is a blatant attack on Chermog.

5 people can read the exact same message and interpret it 5 different ways. Plain text has no emotion attached to it. People attach emotion to it based on how they read it. One piece of text may look informative, a statement of fact, or even come off as rude depending on who is reading it, and how they read it. Support is a very tedious job, especially on forums. You feel like you're repeating the same thing 100 times, and sometimes you just respond based on what is correct, not based on what they want to hear.

It's not rage baiting lol you continually post toxic things and I'm sure any mod would treat you the same way. Stop being stubborn and clean up your attitude and maybe you will get along with more people on the forums. This is a place for people to share ideas and learn and help grow not to complain about every little thing under the sun.

If you have so many problems with league and the mods and the forums then don't play you are obviously toxic and a detriment to our community and we don't need you to muck everything up with YOUR attitude problems.

But that being said if you are willing to take the steps to be kind and promote a friendly environment on the forums with actual conversation instead of just one sided conversations we will gladly be here to share your ideas and discuss things in a calm and civil manner. Until then though please just take a step back go to bed and think about what you are saying and doing here and if this is a game you truly want to play and be a part of, and if it is please treat others with the respect that they deserve as human beings.
