Permanently banned after 9 months of reforming.

I was recently permanently banned from League of Legends because about 9 months ago (I submitted a ticket to riot asking for details about my punishment 9 months ago) and they told me I'd be permabanned unless I reformed from toxic behavior. I'm not gonna lie, I was very toxic in 1 of the 3 games they showed me but the other 2 not so much. I started earning hextech rewards again THAT DAY, I never received an email explaining why I'd been permanently banned, and really riot? I haven't gotten so much as a report warning in 9 months of playing and I sure as hell haven't been toxic, I made sure to watch myself, I went on a loss streak and started flaming an 0/6 riven top who blamed me for every single one of her deaths, I agree it was wrong, but you permaban me when I haven't gotten as much as a report warning in 9 months?? How long does it take to reform?? I started earning hextech rewards again, but I think this was a little out of the blue and unnecessary to say the least.. I submitted a ticket over 24 hours ago explaining my punishment and nobody has responded yet.. this is so unnecessary. It's not like I was racist at all, said anything about real life, told them to kill themselves, the only things I said were about the game itself and immediately banned?

Again, dude. After 9 months of no toxic behavior at all, was on a lose streak and had an int feeding Orianna, an afk Janna, and an 0/6 riven blaming me for losing her lane cause I gave the enemy jungler one kill. All in different games. Looking for explanation on how after 9 months of reforming I'm still on the same level of punishment.

Grow up. Its a game. League is the most toxic game I've ever seen cuz of this report system.

You don't get this crap on counterstrike, Starcraft or Heros of the storm. If you can't handle someone saying mildly offensive stuff probably shouldn't be on the internet.

Like in my mind riven players are all trash except Diamond+

And I see you understand absolutely nothing about causation vs correlation. The report system does not cause toxicity. The toxicity is the reason the report system hits this hard.

One of the games especially I was very toxic, another one I was decently toxic, another game I was just reported and that kinda got thrown in there. My fiora was intentionally feeding one of the games I was toxic too, she typed in chat "vik free kill? <3" and in game 1 I was flaming a riven who went 0/6 in lane and blamed me for her deaths. Not justifying it, but I agree I deserve punishment, 2 weeks I would gladly accept because I deserve them, but after 9 months and these games are all in the same day I don't think it should be permanent.

Unfortunately, Hextech loot doesn't actually have anything to do with whether you are reformed or not. I got permabanned the day I became eligible for it.

I played the game consistently for 9 months without even a report warning, don't you think it's a bit unjustified that riot immediately permabans me without warning for 2 games of toxic behavior?

I wasn't aware report warnings were a thing. No,I don't think that at all. They told you you would be permanently banned unless you reformed. You didn't reform and got punished again.

Okay, then what do they consider "reformed"? Usually when you get reported for verbal harassment, a little screen pops up on the screen and tells you something like "We get everyone has bad days, but try to keep it sportsmanlike". I didn't get a single one of those, and consistent playthrough for almost a year without toxic behavior and even being positive should be considered "reformed"

I know I deserved the ban for the first and third game, just not the second. For the speaking of a possible reform, over long term, how long would that take? I love this game, but I don't react well to toxicity. Also, how many chat restrictions will I be getting when the account is unbanned?

We don't know how long it takes before the system notes an account to have reformed and resets their behavior. The best thing to do in these situations is to not worry and just play your games without ever being negative, then you won't have to worry about when you can be negative again.

I can however clarify that this account will not be receiving any restrictions when this account is unbanned on the 10th.

These are messages from a ticket I sent 9 months ago when I got my 2 week suspension. Other rioters have also said that your account can be "dropped down a rank" of punishment if reformed. I'm looking for answers for my permaban and this stuff doesn't seem to be adding up, from what I can see and this rioter said they don't even know when someone has reformed. I think the system for noting reform is broken and I'm looking for answers..

All they are saying there is that they aren't going to give you specifics on how the system determines reform to drop punishment tiers. They do not want you just not being negative for the minimum requirement for it to go down, then start being negative again; they want you to actually reform and be honest and consistent about it.

If you've been playing consistently for 9 months and not showing negative behavior, then your tier definitely should've gone down some. However, it's always possible to skip punishment tiers for severe behavior, so even if you'd gone back down to a clean slate you could get a permaban for your next punishment anyway.

It doesn't help that we don't know what you were punished for.

I hear you, I posted my chat logs, read ^^. Riot never sent me an email either documenting my ban, when the client signed me out it said to check my email and I wasn't sent one. I'm assuming the ban wasn't warranted and I'm hoping to get it reduced to 2 weeks.. but who knows.

then send them a support ticket asking why you were permabanned.

Don't worry about all that history stuff for now.

It could be that you were hacked and they are closing the account for security reasons. It could also be in-game griefing, so they had to manually punish you.

Who knows...

yea, I don't think it was the instant feedback system because I was banned hours after my toxic game and also it said that other players judged my behavior and found it "grossly offensive" so who knows

I was also told I could reform, if you read the chat that I had with a rioter below. I'm asking why I was permabanned and never reformed after 9 months of no toxic behavior and consistent play.

Yes, well : I think there is a confusion in the terms here... To "be reformed" is to no longer engage in a given behavior. Clearly you engaged in said behavior. Therefore clearly you have not reformed.

Read my chat with the rioter below. Multiple other rioters have said that you could drop a level of punishment or have your accounts reputation somewhat "cleared" if you reform. 9 months of consistent gameplay and no toxic behavior should probably be considered "reformed" or drop a level of punishment, don't you think?
