"Report him he muted us all!"
Meanwhile they misuse their pings all game spam ping "?" on me then follow me and troll my farm. Like wtf is this ?

Unless trolling through gameplay or something their reports will amount to nothing.

you need to announce it, so they don't communicate you information, that won't be received.

How about this you warn them, that misusing/ nonseless usage of pings will cause ping mute as well, thus preventing them from spamming it. If they start spamming just mute for 3-5 mins. Sometimes info like I will splitpush, make sure to keep an eye on them is hard to be translated into pings, (make up your own example if you wish) thus player will at least know that this info won't reach you, so he won't attempt to do anything like this or will be warned.

Just start using the laserpointer (blue ping without a name) and they will too.
People don't tend to remember neutral experiences; they focus on good ones (sometimes) but mostly negative ones (which telling them they're muted falls under).
The info is still helpful to the rest of the team. Them being muted by one person doesn't change that.

it is true, but I doubt they will do this for a long time ( I don't have XP with this). Mbe in start of game and during some unluck.
LostFr0st2 votesI've seen it happen before. They legit scapegoat every bad fight/event without the muting player on that player. Even if the accusation doesn't make sense/they can blame their own misplay.
This gets illustrated in the post game notably through stuff like OP wrote:
"Report him he muted us all!"
Telling them about the mute just gives an excuse.

You can't be punished for "not communicating".
