Griefing goes unpunished, and griefers are willing to rub it in your face.

So... at the start of the game (urf), I announce I can't mid, diana will counter me (Diana does in fact counter heimer. Even more so in URF). I go top.

Anivia immediately starts talking trash. Spends the rest of the laning phase purposefully trying to wall me into opponents.
Recalls, just to interrupt my teleports with wall....

And then lets me know, hey, it doesn't matter I report them, because no one watches these things to see if someone is actually griefing.

Which seems to be true. And griefing seems to be extremely common because of this.

When you spend your entire game attempting to get someone to go off on you, by not just wasting their time, but making their time miserable. You deserve a permanent ban.

Not just a temp ban, or suspension. Permanent. These people are without a doubt the most toxic people in lol.

*Edit. Had notification that someone had their wrists slapped over this. Dreams do come true.

One more reason why I hate urf, for some reason people take this for fun game mode way to seriously

if they do it enough times with a huge amount of reports a rioter might check it out. there is just way too much volume to check many games. 99.9% of the troll games will never get viewed.

60 million active accounts with someone getting reported in maybe 1/3rd of those games. so suppose 60 million games a day 20 million have reports in them. maybe they can speed watch a game to see if the reports are justified in 10 mins. that means if they want to watch all the reported games they would have to watch 200 million minutes of video per day.

maybe they only want to watch the extreme 1 in 100 cases that have many reports over multiple games in a short amount of time. well that would still be 1 million mins of video a day to watch. there is no possible way to do it.

so in short - no they aren't going to review your game and the griefer is safe.

As MUSHROOM MIDGET said, if they get reported for greifing enough, they'll be punished. Just report them and describe what they were doing. If it continues, they'll certainly be hit.

they do look at them, they just don't tell you that they did anything. Even if it did lead to a punishment.

People who say that are just ignorant of the system, then they come on the board's and spew out all kinds of nonsense when they get banned.

I'd say Heimer isn't that bad against Diana in Urf, simply stay outta range and W spam from max range (spread it out so it's a guaranteed hit) and E in front of her if she tries chasing.
