If I report what this player said on here, will he get banned?

Just played a game with an EXTREMELY toxic jungler who gave up literally 10 minutes into game because he died. Entire team was winning so we said none of us are surrendering which ticked him off and he started calling us all sorts of rude names and just refused to participate in any team fights so they could win. When I said we were going to report him, he literally said "I rage and do this all the time and riot isn't going to do fuck about it so im so scared."

Thus, I took pictures of everything he said after game too, which proves he was very toxic in game as well. Is there anything we can do about people like this, who keep this negativity in the game and bring the entire atmosphere of League down?

Do not name shame on the Boards, that can get you banned. Submit a ticket and move on, the chances of you ever running into that person again is extremely slim. Have a good one.

Submit a ticket here. That's what the boards hare here, to help people not be toxic (at least that's the intent). Personally I think its just the anonymity of the internet, people thinking they can just say whatever and get away with it. But this is not the place for that discussion. XD

Just report them. What happens after that is none of your concern. You don't get to decide what happens to the offender. Riot does.
