How do you deal with toxic players?

How do you cope with players that just 1v5's, like , all the time just because he's tanky enough to do it? Or players that refuse to listen to calls made by someone else? What is the best way to deal with toxic players so that you have a higher chance to win within that game? Reporting seems to do nothing since you need like all the players to report that individual and i've rearly had the immediate response thingy pop up for me after reporting toxic players. Should i just mute them and pray to Jesus that they dont feed hard or feed the wrong guy? Do I have to sacrifice my firstborn son to have a lower chance of encounter? Will using Repel keep them away from me long enough for me to get out of this rank cave? Or should i just go in with the mindset to lose every game i play no matter how much i try to win? I've yet to see positivity make them change their minds mid game to try to win the game.
