Why am i getting punished for players that are intentionally feeding?

Getting players that just chase for kills and feed the enemy team. Got demoted because of this type of behavior. Why am i getting the negatives just because i was teamed with these kind of players? Isn't there a system to prevent this from happening besides "Git Gud Nub" stuff that circles the web? Or am i just shit out of luck and pray that i dont get feeders as reporting them seems to get nothing done since only 1 or 2 other players report?

20% of the time you lose the game becuase of teammates. 20% of the time you get carried by teammates. 60% of the time you are the key to winning or losing. Climbing doesn't just mean being slightly better than where you are currently, it means being so good that you can have above 50% winrate even with people feeding in some games.

Intentional feeders are just having a bad game. They shouldn't get punished.

Your perspective in labeling them feeders will warp the way you interpret a lot of events in game. And as such your behavior. It makes you less team oriented, and that will cost you games. Don't sweat a few deaths. Shutdown gold exists prettymuch for exactly that. You can always turn things around, so long you don't write off your teammates.

It sounds to me like they're not intentionally feeding at all, they're just getting greedy/tunnel visioning and dying, which is completely different from inting. At the end of the day, you need to stop focusing on what your team is doing wrong and start focusing on what you're doing wrong. Even if your teammate is actually being dumb, there's no point in worrying that much about it when you could focus on improving yourself and adapting your playstyle to try to lessen the impact of the faults.

You'll get the rank you deserve.
