Internet Disconnect - Returned 30 Minutes Later to Game - What Will Happen?

So, I've had this account since ~2014 and have never disconnected during a game. Granted, I rarely ever played much. However, I just disconnected from a game within the first 30 seconds of the game's beginning. Comcast just crapped out for ~30 mins. I quit the game. The launcher said that because it could not find a connection that it would log out.

When I logged back in to see what kind of penalty I got, I was put right back in the game with furious people. I totally understand their anger and I profusely apologized. I asked why they didn't just remake and they said they expected me to be back. Again, I apologized. Then we lost and went back to the lobby. I honored some random person because I couldn't remember my teammates.

How is this going to affect me? I don't want to lose my account. Over the past week after returning to the game, I have put in 8-16 hour days just playing this game (on vacation). Not to mention, I have a ton of money put into this game. I had every character up until Illaoi.

I will say this, nobody said they were going to report me and also there was no warning when I got back to the home screen. I looked up LeaveBusters' guidelines and it seems as though my punishment would be a 6-game low priority queue. I just don't want to be perma-banned over Comcast and it's stupid random drops.

I just get really paranoid about this type of thing. Then again, people disconnect during my games all the time and it seems like no big deal to them.

LPQ is given by the leavebuster after a history of AFK/leaving. It has leniency for occasions just like this.

If you havent left a game AT ALL not ONCE. You will get a lil screen saying that you will not leave again then type something. but since you haven't (assuming) left any sort of games, nothign bad will happen. Nothing will actually happen to you really. Don't need to worry

The report check box for "afk" is just to help the Leaverbuster system if it missed an afk on its own. SO, that's the worst that will happen...some lo-prio queues. I think if it becomes a regular thing, there might be more sever penalties...not sure. But if it was just your internet and not you, you are fine.

As long as you were there when the game ended, nothing happens. I hate it when my internet goes down when im in-game. Same for power surges because my internet takes time to reboot at that point.

The LeaverBuster system is completely separate from the behavioral systems. It won't affect your end of season rewards or count towards suspensions or bans.
