please tell me this isn't intended.

i had honor 5 in 2017.

i have played A LOT OF GAMES this year. i have gotten a LOT OF HONORS this year. no chat bans, no warnings, nothing.

i don't claim to be a saint. i do get mad at my team, i do mute people if they're overly toxic, and i am a little toxic sometimes (usually from being provoked)

but really? really. is this how this system works? who are you rewarding, riot? if not for that god damned screen you make me honor people on, or the popups that appear when i'm in queue because someone honored me from my previous game before i saw it... why? an honor 3 and 4 ward for this? really?

sorry if i sound exasperated, but as you can probably tell, I AM.

i'm posting this here wondering if anyone else has had the same issue i did - i am not making this post for a fix, or anything like that. i am simply wondering if anyone else has had this issue. surely, i can't be the only one.

You may get honored, but you also probably get reported. Getting reported drastically slows your honor progression. I probably put a 10th of the games in this season as one of my buddies, i hit honor 5 3 months ago, he just hit honor 3 and has never been punished this year, but i know for a fact he gets in peoples heads during the game and probably gets frequently reported.

I would say this is the problem. Riot Tantram once confirmed ANY toxicity may slow or even completely stop your honor progress even if the toxicity is not strong enough to trigger a punishment.

Sucks for u but that just means you ain't honorable enough to get honor lvl 5 like me (plz don't hate). I'd give u some honor if I could lol But I can't so here's a cookie thoitem 2010 Just joking tho (plz don't hate).

Dude, you play a LOT more than I do, and I got Honor 5 in what, September or so. You're probably not the saint you're claiming to be. Otherwise it's ridiculously easy to get to Honor 5.

Maybe it's not everyone else's fault, have you thought about that?

This is your problem.

Valid reports against you drastically slow down your honors progress.

You can submit a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and ask them how many games you were validly reported in the past 100 games to see how often you are validly reported.

lol you got lucky, it never put me past honor 2 and I was also level 5 last season, no chat bans or anything bad. just no one honors the singed main

I 'm only Honor 3, though I say nice things and congratulate my teammates all game :D And when they are dieing a lot, I say things like "it may be wiser to be friends with your turret for a little bit. Hug your friends! :D"

You get honor by being nice and fun to play with. We can't tell you why people aren't honoring you.

Its not an "issue". You just had your progress slowed with all those "sometimes" toxic moments.
