Can we please punish players who play Ranked and admit they are "high/drunk"?

I am so tired of the troll picks and with the feeding and the belief that they are gods with hindered typing all game long while being unable to do anything about it, and not even be sure if they're going to be punished or not. It's demoralizing and annoying.

With the increased amount of downvotes, I feel I need to clarify that the punishment I keep wanting to dish out is a simple 24-hour lockout from Ranked only. The player will still be able to play ARAM, normals, (or TT if you're that kind of guy) or others. I do not mean a critical punishment such as a week ban.

And how would you stop me from playing high and drunk and not telling you i was high and drunk?

Do people actually play this game while not high?

It’s a game. You may consider ranked to be too sacred to play under the influence, but it’s unreasonable and unworkable to police how others choose to play their game.

Tell that to my team after I carry them post fat dab

You say "admit" like nobody could just lie about it lmao

erm, lots of people play high and drunk all the time. makes no difference admitting it or not.

I understand your frustration in a way, you seem to attribute result with a certain cause. However, this is not enforceable.

Sounds like you want them to be punished for the shit they're doing, not the fact that they're high or drunk. Troll picks and feeding have nothing to do with drugs and alcohol lol.

If you wanna make a case for smoking marijuana hindering gameplay, I'm gonna need some serious data to support that idea. And not some vague "it slows your reaction times" shit. There's more to the game than reaction times. Focus and stress can play a big factor and weed helps focus and relieves stress.

If you're in a good state of mind, your gameplay is affected in a positive way imo. And weed puts me in a pretty good state of mind. I don't play drunk... I think obviously being drunk hurts your gameplay, but weed is a bit more complicated IMO. I would never advocate or encourage people to smoke weed, I'm not like that, I'm not defending it just cuz I'm bias cuz I smoke it.. I'm just saying, being high honestly does not hinder my gameplay imo.

Then again, there are degrees to that. My friend does dabs and you can tell it spaces him out more and he gets a little slow lol. If I just get done choking down a blunt, then yeah I'm gonna be a little slow. But if I just smoke a bowl like usual after work, I'm fucking locked in dude. I'm focused and playing to the best of my ability. I was better at sc1 when I was high, and I think I'm better at league when I'm high. This may not be true, but I honestly can't say I play worse. May not be better, but it's not worse either. When I see people say "sorry I'm too high" I scoff and shake my head. They're just trying to sound like they have a cool excuse for sucking ass.

Where in the terms of use does it say we are not allowed to play under the influence of drugs and alcohol?

Nope, next.

You dont know how many times people have called me drunk while playing, u have no evidence of if they are lying when they "admit;' it either

RallerenP11/2/2018, 8:21:39 PM1 votes

And what about people who are just joking about it? How do you sort them from the people that are actually drunk?
