So Riot just so happened to REMOVE my post proving that they not only do not care about your Support tickets but in fact they probably do not even read them.. Short version: Im going to post my ticket and remove the other League players name because that is supposedly why they removed my first post. We will just call the player: "Player X" from now on. But here is my ticket and convo with Riot. And I hope somebody saved or screenshot my first post because I am pretty sure that they already went back and altered their reply to me but here it is:

DG BANKS Yesterday at 12:14 This is a follow-up to your previous request #22195095 "Re: Can i see the whole chat logs from the 3 games my account got suspended for?"

Just played a game with "Player X" , he was on the opposite team as me and was extremely verbal after I started beating him playing as Teemo. He started off just saying things like Fuck you in all chat etc. But then started making threats and wishing death upon me and my family. I reported after and never got a message saying he has been punished. My main account that was perma ban for far less than this and this guy goes on playing. Please Riot look at this game. It ended at 11:58 a.m on 7/28/2016. He even got his team members involved in wishing death upon me and my family. This is an absolute joke seeing as I was perma ban for calling and intentionally feeding Viegar player "Feedgar".. Please do something about this.

Avatar ECONETICS Yesterday at 18:52 Hello DG,

My name is Econetics. I'm a part of the support team at Riot and I'll be handling this matter. It looks like Broken Blade already addressed your issue in ticket #22195095 We will not be altering or lifting the suspension on this account for any reason. Restrictions and suspensions are a form of warning to improve your behavior or you could see harsher punishments in the future, which is what happened in this case. Verbally demeaning, antagonizing, and arguing with other players is unnecessary negativity that you should be aware of at this point.

If you would like to read more about our Instant Feedback System here is our FAQ: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286

We stand firm on our decision to issue this punishment and will not be making any exceptions in regards to lifting it.

If you still have questions or need clarification on anything, please let me know.

Avatar DG BANKS Today at 02:10 This is proof that you guys at "Riot Support" do not even read the matter at hand.

I intentionally created this ticket under an existing ticket to prove this fact.

Not only did you guys not reply to the current ticket, you gave me the same bullshit response about my prior ticket.

This is absolutely terrible and I fully intend on bringing it to the public.

But I doubt an actual human being will read this. What a fucking JOKE.

Please actually read my current problem RIOT. This ticket was not about my ban at all

Back to my post: Not only did Riot not address the matter at hand they did not even give a fuck that this player wished death upon me and my family. and all that I got perma ban for was arguing with another player and "demeaning" him. Riot and Riot support is a complete JOKE , They DO NOT CARE about your tickets and I Doubt a human actually even reads them based on this automated response that clearly did not understand the issue that i brought forward. I WAS NOT arguing my ban at all I just wanted Riot to look at or monitor this behavior that i thought i was bringing to their attention.

"Player X" is not a real person to my Knowledge and therefore should not result in Riot once again removing my Post. I am in no way "name smearing" . I repeat: "Player X" is a reinactment of an actual player. Please do not find some other reason to remove my post

Riot will never provide the chat logs of other players to you, only your own, so that solves the initial request. As for looking into the behavior of the other player, if Player Support confused the purpose of your ticket due to your inclusion of your own ban, simply reopen the ticket and tell them that. It happens.

It's not economically feasible for riot or any company to inspect every instance of toxicity at the level you want them too. Riot can't have a person read every log and judge who is more/less toxic than other people as that would cost millions. If that person is consistently toxic they will be consistently reported and banned and just because you didn't receive message doesn't mean they weren't banned. There HAS to be automation to deal with the millions of daily reports.

if someone's being an ass in-game, do the smart thing and mute them, wait till after the game, and report them.

by engaging and retaliating against the other person you're literally getting yourself into trouble and are causing MORE flaming by feeding the troll. as far as your complaint about getting banned for less, here's the deal: you can mute people saying stupid shit in the game, but you cannot mute stupid behavior.

learn to be tolerant and do the calm and easy thing, let them act like idiots and get themselves into trouble and report them. Don't act like a fool yourself and try to look innocent by pointing at someone that you think is doing something worse than you are.

ban deserved.

What exactly are you wanting?? If you reported him, then your job is over... if you are complaining that he didn't get punished, how do you know?

If you are complaining about a lack of transparency in the punishment system then I actually agree.. but it is what it is in its current state.. and the Tribunal shows no signs of returning.

And since no one brought up. Yes, the system works. If you reported them, they will get punished, especially for death threats. But it is Player Support's policy not to disclose punishments. They will NEVER tell you if that person got punished. You dealt with the matter, time to move on.

  1. Yes, it's automated. We've known this for awhile and most systems are actually automated (to my knowledge, I could be wrong), so yes they will throw back shitty responses. From my understanding, you can eventually get to an actual person, but I'm not entirely sure how as I've not gone through the process myself.

  2. Only the person who gives the last report that pushes the player into a punishment will receive the notification that someone has been banned. I can only assume that it's because Riot doesn't want their players bombarded with 50k notifications that justice has been served (would lag the client and probably crash it, unplayable = unenjoyable = greater loss of players compared to what it is now).

  3. Mute the guy. I understand this is one of the most common things people get on posts with people harassing you in chat, but it's so true and imo pretty simple. Mute, report, and forget about them, they aren't worth the brain power it requires to think about them.

  4. Riot is a company, more than likely they've calculated a lot of shit about player loss, player gains, and profits relating to the previous two factors. They aren't stupid, they make mistakes, but they aren't stupid. Are they evil people? Doubtful. I highly doubt any designers/artists/programmers come into work and think: "Ah, how can I screw the player-base today without losing them all?" They use automated systems because they don't want to hire a large amount of people to go through everything and sort out the trolls and the stupid from the genuine and important, due to this fact, you get cookie cutter replies. Is it right? No, of course not, they should be paying attention to these things, but you reported the player in game, no more is needed to be done. More than likely they have all their data flowing into a little chart that shows how much of the community is being correctly reported, what the biggest issue is, and maybe even how many players are punished each day.

Overall, as a company, yeah they don't really care too much as long as they're making profits, but on the individual level, the developers more than likely actually do care about the user experience.

I think you don't know what the word proving means, or what proof is. After reading all of your replies, I have proof you're from Utah, specifically Salt Lake City. Honestly it amazes me that Riot hires people to respond to reports for a game as large as this, with people submitting tickets all the time. I'm also amazed DTN kept trying to help you even with that attitude.
