Got a 14day ban today. Checked my e-mail. Doesn't matter. I can't get along with a majority of the gamers in this community. Their play style aggravates me reminding me how hard I worked to get out of 700 ELO back in season 2 yet these people were able to enjoy higher ELO and talk shit about lower ELO players when their own play is complete shit.

obviously if they indef banned me id still come back

i have about 30 accounts at any given time. no one in history is less concerned about reports or bans.

I'm surprised this poll is 8-1 as of right now. It seems most of you would rather grind on a new account than give up LoL.

Aeszarck4/29/2017, 12:26:44 AM1 votes

Ack, knowing me, I'd probably feel really hurt. I wouldn't want to come back to League of Legends if I were permabanned; I would just move on to another game.

Yeah, thats what I did. I never spent any money or bought skins, and I only play a few champions so starting over wasn't a big deal.

Could it be that permanently suspending players could actually increase profits? If Riot knows that the majority of permanently banned players return (that may or may not be true), maybe they could increase the RP sales since people would be buying XP and IP boosts to catch-up faster.

I doubt it... i spent a lot of money on this game. if i got permabanned I'd probably quit (or come back after a long time but I don't think that'll happen)

ModPeriscope4/29/2017, 6:23:12 AM1 votes

Personally, I like some parts of the grind, but I'd hate not having all of the champs. If I were banned tho, part of me would at least hate some aspects of this game. It's kinda a weird question, tbh.

I've been perma'd around 6 times, I always come back. When my main gets a 14 day ban I jump on a smurf and troll half the games because I don't really care about the account and I see it as a way to punish Riot. Am I a dick for it? Hell yeah. I don't do it because I hate my teammates, i do it because they are strangers, so my like/dislike for them is neutral while my hate for Riot is greater. I don't even flame that much on my main accounts or my smurfs (never use the N word, %%%got, ect... I'll just argue over a decision with someone all game if that's what it comes down to (though I have a 56 percent win rate in plat so I'm still winning most of my games)). I play a lot of games so the amount of games I argue in adds up and I get a 14 day ban around my 400-500th game.

Riot causes a hell of a lot more games to be full on ruined by banning someone like me than just giving more chat restrictions like they did in the past. Did I learn from those chat restrictions? No, not really. I mean I'll still argue with someone all game long and quit the match if my teammates taunt the shit out of me, but at least the games were spaced out. When forced onto my smurf I go all out for revenge.

If they banned me, it would be because of a 3rd party program I didn't know I had, and wouldn't be able to find. So I'd give up and wouldn't get a new account.

everyone comes back

nerak235/1/2017, 12:02:57 AM1 votes

No Way, If I got a perma-ban I'd be to embarrassed to play one of my Alts.!

I'd be mad at myself and never come on here again. hahaha Yep, some people are honest and play by the rules,,, Most do !!

nerak235/1/2017, 12:06:50 AM1 votes

OH and by the way, Riot can figure out IP if they want to put the effort in..I believe they are doing so and thus the reason many are confused why the new account is getting punished quicker, hahahaha

To Bad for you ;) Still time to adhere to the rules though :) Remember Friends, Riot never tells us what they are doing until it is old. ;)

The Big Piece (NA) - 3 minutes ago There is no rule against making another account if you are permabanned, and IP bans are very easy to get around.

Um No there is a Rule against posting from the same person from different accounts!

I am still convinced Riot can find people.... __

More often I know they can find you when you post on the board on 2 or more accounts. I don't have a problem with this: if when you post on 2 accounts that you don't console yourself or further your agenda !

Either way, but people who use 2 accounts on here have to prove something to themselves and don't realize that most of the regular posters have been reading 'the posts' since the beginning.

BTW: Yes It IS against the rules to post from 2 accounts at the same time !

The Big Piece (NA) - 3 minutes ago You seem to be confusing permabans with forum bans. You can be permanently banned in game and still post on the forums.

You seem to be confused also ;) You can get a forum ban and get your main banned also..Did you know that ?

Anyway you seem to have misinterpreted my response ....I'm Not going to argue with you but I must say I have been playing 'possum' You can No longer post from perma-banned accounts. ! Riot no longer allows it !

Voting from an account that's banned.

AssauIto4/28/2017, 9:06:30 PM1 votes

I'm wondering if all these accounts that are being falsely banned for "3rd party exploits/scripts/etc" is going to affect the size of the player base.
