No way to reverse my perma ban, or reduce it? Why not just chat ban?

Is there actually no way to reverse this as a permanent ban? Id be completely fine with a chat restrict, I need to stop talking and reading all chat anyways. tilting listening to low elo complain and cry. And yes, this is the complete reason why I was permanently banned. This was the only game they referenced in it. I asked for a chat restrict instead, because why ban me from the game if im playing the game normally and NOT inting or trolling but my chat was bad?

It was escalated to a permanent ban because you most likely had a recent or semi recent 14 day ban. After that 14 day, you are on thin ice and the next punishment is a perm.

You sure are a chatty one. Anyways, yeah they dont reverse punishments unless they were placed in error. Your best route is to make a support ticket, but dont get your hopes up.

Update to everyone: As of today, they have reduced my permanent ban to a 2-week ban after we sent a few emails back and forth. Ill be making a new post on the forums about it if you guys wanna talk about it over there.

I don't think it should have resulted in a permanent ban. This is the kinda unfair and simply toxic side of Riot's report system and philosophy about player behavior.

You were toxic, but as i always say, perm bans should be for people who ruin the game, inters for example. I had a few bad games, and each one increased punishment to a perm. And the last one? I told the enemy to shut up and leave me alone. And PERM BAN. riots system sucks. And plenty of people won't admit it. But seriously, mute exists, people give it as an a example to give advice for dealing with toxicity. Sooo yeah, we can do that rito. Don't perm ban us just for having like, one bad game on a bad day every month.

Update: So i actually recieved a reply to my support ticket asking me to explain how a list of certain lines they quoted broke the summoners code. Then asked me "How did it make them feel and why do you believe this is the most important question?". I don't know if this is a chance to redeem myself or what, but it's cool they gave me the floor to talk about it.

The question isn't "Does this deserve a permaban?" but rather "Does this deserve a punishment?" instead, and unfortunately here the answer is yes. It's not the worst reform card I've seen but it's still pretty negative, especially towards the end. If you had no priors then this would get a chat restriction at most but since you recently came off a 14-day ban this reform card doesn't show enough of a reformation effort to warrant a lesser punishment*, hence the permaban.

My advice: Being frustrated is fine but it's not fine to take that anger and frustration out on others in the game. Yell and rage at the screen or in a pillow or whatever if you must but just don't do it in the chat (or via gameplay for that matter either). This is especially true for when dealing with trolls, since they love to get negative reactions out of people and get mad when they don't. Don't feed the trolls and they'll fall alone if that makes sense.

*By lesser punishment I mean showing enough good behavior (neutral or positive) to drop down a punishment tier, which in your case would've earned you a 14-day ban for this reform card instead of a permanent ban if that makes sense.

P.S. Riot tried permamutes in the form of infinitely scaling chat restrictions and found that not only did it NOT help with reform but it also saw increase in gameplay related offenses, such as inting, trolling and griefing, things much harder to detect and prove intent for than simple chat related offenses, from people who couldn't tick off others via chat, hence the system we have today.

Also, one of the in-game tips says banter and stuff is okay, but stuff like racism and sexism isnt... I wasnt being racist or sexist or anything
