I don't mind botters as much as I used to.

A long time ago I played a bot game to try out Rengar and generally increase my champion pool. Become the jack of all trades as it were. i lost the game because we had 3 bots and my top laner, nautilus (bless his soul) was 2v1 against Jax and Jarvan. Naturally i was in the jungle and he didn't last very long.

The final score for the other 3 botters was something like 0/40/0. It was a bad game, i almost uninstalled league. A 50 minute bot game that me and nautilus tried to hold the line and failed miserably.

But that was almost a year ago. Recently I had a game with a newbie Kalista(bless her soul), we lost but i found it didn't tilt me as much as it used to. in fact i was smiling. It was a 2v5, with 1 botter in the jungle, the other one afk, and the last trying to 1v1 the nexus. Basically an average bot game.

These days I've come to accept the botters, and sometimes i'm happy that the bots are there instead of the challenger yasuo that demands that no-one else is allowed to farm except for him.

Basically i don't mind the bots so much anymore, all they do these days is make me put on my try hard pants, so i can carry the low level newbies to their 1st victory, give them a win and help them to understand that bots are just a part of league of legends.

We all complain about what is ruining league of legends (Darius, seriously, i have no idea how to kill this guy) but at the moment i don't think anything is ruining it. some of us just have bad games and we like to blame it on something that really has nothing to do with just amount of rotten luck some of us get. As they say, keep calm and move on.

p.s. it's not the junglers job to help you win lane.

I don't ever remember botters being able to jungle.

Personally I am beyond tilted at this point at all the botters I run into. When you're doing a 3v3 PvP game and 4 of 6 "players" are bots that is pretty bad. When you play 100 games and during that span ran into more than 200 different named bot users (not counting the Riot endorsed Bots) that is extremely bad.

Even worse though is that this experience was during the level 1~30 stage. Yeah, anyone who makes a smurf account is affected, but more importantly anyone like me who just joined LoL for the first time is having to suffer this experience. This spamming wave of bots is probably doing more to drive away new players than anything else - even the toxicity abundant through parts of the community.

It is horrific that Riot is doing essentially nothing to curtail this bad behavior. How hard would it be to embed a Captcha like prompt enforcing people to physically be at the computer to respond?
