Option to permenantly mute ALL the time.

Riot, since you aren't doing anything at all about the casual toxic garbage that litters not only the game but the champ select and post game as well I feel that the very least you can do is offer a permeant mute everywhere option.

Actually in a number of places now, such as the UK and Germany, if you don't offer a method to block online harassment (like in champ select) your company can be held criminally liable.

"casual toxic garbage"? What do you have against players that don't play this game as their day job?

I am referring to the toxic garbage that is casually slung around that doesn't fall into the .01% that Riot takes action against. Like how almost every post game someone inevitably calls someone else for being trash and the reason they lost the game. Or 'don't play champ X, they are trash' in champ select.

communication is an important part of the game, how else will u decide who gets what roles in champ selcet, Are you so sensitive you cant see what anyone has to say without going into a tantrum that eventually gets you banned?

Funny thing, every high ranked player will tell you that there is NOTHING to be gained from chat, it will only be a negative impact on your play. They all say if you want to seriously play then mute all from the start.

I'm going to guess that you're one of those guys that thinks he knows better than his whole team even though you're in the same rank as them and bark orders and cast blame deciding everyone but yourself is making the mistakes that cost you the game.

Aside from pings all communication in solo queue is a hindrance.

I support this. I'm really getting tired of people raging, throwing fits, or just generally inting. It's at the very least distracting and at the most infuriating. Leaving won't fix it, and rationalizing with them never helps, so yeah, I want the chance to mute permanently. It's getting to the point where I don't want to play the fucking game anymore. Ranking feels impossible with this bullshit. At least with this I can just focus on my lane and nothing else so I can have a fraction of peace.

Yes, there are toxic players that we face every day. Doesn't mean you should permanently mute everyone. There are good people in the LoL community that are great to communicate with and asking for a permanent mute button will disconnect that opportunity. If you really want to mute toxic players, just ignore it lmao. Turn off chat (you can check youtube for that)...[zombie-brand-facepalm]

I've played this game since launch. I enjoy friendly banter however enjoyable chat is outshadowed by crap by a huge margin and often I would just rather not see anything than be tilted by toxic garbage that you can't un-read.

Unfairly punishes players that honestly use chat for strategy.

Coaches will tell you that even if you have the best intention don't chat. Use pings. At best using chat will waste time and most people will just ignore your suggestion anyways. At worst it will tilt someone and throw the game.

Besides, the entire system punishes good players and benefits toxic ones.

How can I communicate the following with pings?

-1/3/1 split -Don't fight till I farm up a bit -Taking blue then ganking bot -Do you want red? -I will solo rift, don't help me -We need to focus Ezreal -2 turrets then baron

I can't imagine how any of that wastes time or risks tilting people, and I see no indication that the system would punish good players or benefit toxics.

Odds are someone will think your call is wrong. Then they have to tell you that you're wrong back in chat. Good chance you will respond with yes, it is the right call. Then they die in lane trying to type back why you are wrong. Now they have to type that you caused them to die, you're trash, uninstall, etc and they're tilted or afk.

Look it's not my opinion, it's the opinion of every successful ranked player in D1 and above. Go argue with them, since they're incredibly better than I am at the game I'll take their word for it.

I highly doubt that. Try a different theory?

Regardless of the "opinions" you claim of, it's a stating fact that we need chat for communication. Even your "high diamond" players out there.

Don't take my word for it go find your favorite coach or streamer, tip them and ask. Or go watch one of the hundreds of youtube guides of theirs on climbing that tell you to just mute all first thing.

Doubt all you want, you can easily verify it.

I'll leave that in unvaried section, sir.
