Why isn't being told to kill yourself an instapunish? I've been told in 30% or more of my games to kill myself and NO ONE has gotten punished for my report. Rammus support, 0 contribution to lane, 10% hp by the time he taunts someone, and I didn't follow up? Kill myself. I misplayed once? Kill myself. I called mia, but the top laner didn't notice? Kill myself. I made a pun because I'm in a good, joking mood? Kill myself. I'm sick and tired of being told to kill myself in every fucking game I don't have 2-3 friends in. Something seriously needs to be done about this.

It is actually very harshly punished once confirmed by the system. It usually merits an immediate 14-day ban.

Riot treats things like this seriously. But you have to understand it takes time for any player to get punished, and you don't always get notified.

I havent been told to kms in months, and i play 2-3 a day when im not in a semester. I would suggest muting

Not sure why people are down voting you into the ground, you seem pretty distressed by this. If someone is threatening you are telling you to kill yourself, mute them IMMEDIATELY. Report them after the game, it is a serious offense. Do not respond to them, just instantly mute.

The term "kys" has become part of gaming culture. IMO the term itself (not actually saying "kill yourself") is basically like calling someone a retard. Is it right? No. But if someone who is so stupid to blame you for a mia you pinged or play Rammus support and not even have an idea of what they are doing then why would it bother you that they said that? And before anyone says it could "trigger" someone, I've had more than suicidal thoughts in the past. But I never acted on or would act on something that some random stranger that I will never meet again said on the internet. I've had people who said "kys" to me and I blew it off. Y'know why? Cause I have to play one game with them. If anyone was so unstable that they would act on someone saying "kys" then they shouldn't even use the chat and should mute everyone in the game.
