So i got chat restricted and i was wondering if it truely is worth a chat restriction this is my first chat restriction and im pretty melted because it was over 1 game and 3 members of my team were saying to report me and calling me retarded etc as they lost their lanes solo and took out on me their jungler...

As someone who just got hit with a 14 day ban for this reason, but worse, you do take a lot of shots at the team, calling them "noobs" and telling them to report mao for "perma flame/cry". I know it's hard to not want to flame, trust me, I know. But a quick "/mute all" can save you a lot of trouble and put you at little to no risk for getting punished.

The snowflakes on these forums will tell you that you 100% deserved your chat restriction for calling someone a "noob".

Personally, I think the things some people get punished for are just ridiculous, whereas other players who call teamates retarded, %%%gots, and n***ers get away with zero punishment.

By itself calling for reports once is not necessarily bad, but it does toe the line. And doing it repeatedly is sometimes considered harassment by Riot. If you do this sort of thing consistently across multiple games then sometimes it will catch up to you and result in a chat restriction.

That aside though, are you aware that you don't need to ask for people to report the person you want reported? Your report is all it takes to get their behavior reviewed.

This is 1 of the few I see that I don't believe deserved a ban. Wow you asked for someone to be reported, that's nothing.
