Can we have a Chat Restriction Option?

In the preferences menu please? would be cool alongside the "bad word" filter (forgot the name of the option lol) but yeah i think it would really help people with raging, i for myself sometimes rage alot because when i start i almost can't stop because of unlimited messages, so would be cool to have that option

What sort of restrictions would the option apply?

here is my proposed idea for a self chat restriction

a player can chat restrict themselves from client. would not lose out on hextech or end of season rewards "unless ineligible already"
if a player chat restricts themselves they would have the OPTION of turning it off after a minimum of 5 games
if a player who chat restricts themselves earns a punishment. they would recieve 3 day and 7 day bans in place of the punishment chat restrictions "14 day and permabans would still apply normally" since a chat restriction wouldnt be a punishment for them *if a player is chat restricted "punishment or not" they would have the OPTION to have an icon above thier champ icon in tab screen notifying thier team that they have limited chat
