Botting is getting out of hand in 3's, nothing being done to stop growing issue.

Having a feed bot as a teammate in twisted tree lines has been a problem since I started mainly playing 3's a few seasons ago. I escaped to Ranked 3's Teams when I could (after 7pm EST it would be available on NA), which was great. Now these bots are appearing in Flex Ranked, and is pretty much a coin flip whether you get a bot or not as a teammate. Today I wasted a lot of time playing with these bots, as they feed so fast, it is impossible to try to carry through. I would like to know what is being done with this botting issue. As I have reported many and have not received notification of the usual punishment you get when a successful report has been delivered. It seems like a pretty easy to distinguish whether a player is just bad or a bot. When a player is unresponsive in chat, simply runs into enemies, and loses over 98% of games alone, I don't even think a report is necessary.

Please let us know what Riot is doing to help improve our game play experience in 3's

Here is a sample of what a bot's match history looks like (Names removed since riot wont let the names appear to protect its players) https://postimg.org/image/e0eq2zv31/

We've been trying to tell them since the old message board days, they don't really care to do anything about it.

I think once they remove TT and all the bots that left dominion to bot on TT will go to summoners rift and that is when they will care.

page after page is just people asking riot to help do something.

play ranked 3! I'm actually moving over to 3s since they don't have jungle plants there. And colossus is not as broken there as well

The example you posted just looks like a new player.

Riot takes the use of 3rd party applications as serious in 3s as it does in any Queue

I understand botting is an issue, don't get me wrong I want Riot to help out with it just as much as you do, but the example you showed looks like just a new player who doesn't understand the game at all still.

I know this because I've tried helping my friends get into the game a long time ago, and they were just as bad. And communicating over coms didn't help them understand the game any easier. Sometimes they just don't understand, especially when they've never touched a MOBA before.

I had a friend who tried Rumble during his first time ever playing (was FTP that week) and he would always AA turrets until he died, with or without minions. He never bought items because he thought you could only buy the final items outright, he didn't understand building into them. He also didn't know how to use abilities on the keyboard, so he would mouse click the abilities all the time.

He wasn't great, and to be honest it was hard trying to teach him to play over coms since he didn't understand any terminology, so I'm certain he looked like a bot to others if it wasn't for me chiming in "I'm teaching my friend to play".

Obviously, if there is an actual bot in my game I'd want them removed since they just hurt the integrity of the game, but we also need to be careful we don't lump in truly new (and bad) players into the same category. We have this extremely high expectation that new players should have a grasp on what they're doing and how to play, when in all honesty the game isn't that simple to learn or pick up that quickly. Especially if they've never even touched a MOBA style game, or are new to video games in general. Perhaps it's because we're so used to playing against smurfs in lower levels, that when an actual "new player" joins, we expect them to already be playing at a higher level.

But maybe that's a separate issue all together.
