Receiving punishment after reporting

As a preface I have several accounts some banned some not, but with all my accounts I have noticed that I almost never get punished in a game if im toxic unless i report someone else for being toxic. im wondering if anyone else has had this experience

For anyone who wants to use the argument that this is confirmation bias or purely anecdotal pls save your time and dont. i can show u my support ticket where i was toxic to a player (that i called out by name) but didnt get punished until 7 games later, "coincidentally" after I report another player. (btw i dont report often)
