Shouldn't there be a better reporting system?

I just... don't even understand this community. I just played a game where I played kalista. My Alistar support was extremely aggressive and targeted enemy Tahm Kench, resulting in me getting targeted by their Jhin. I kept pinging for him to stop going in so aggressive and just let me farm. I told him that we're not going to kill that Tahm Kench and that maybe if he focused Jhin we could get a kill. So then Mordekaiser jungle comes in and dives turret, giving Jhin a double. I tell him that he shouldn't have gone diving the turret and then he said he does what he wants. I say in all chat "report me afk" except I don't go afk. I just start farming jungle so I can keep up in gold... since Jhin is extra fed at this point.

So this mordekaiser starts calling me names and telling everyone I'm useless. Him and Alistar pretty much gang up on me and then so does our Malph top. I'm basically targeted the rest of the game by my own teammates, with mordekaiser being the prime instigator... spamming in all chat that all 9 should report me because then I can get banned. After the game, this was the chat.

My thing is... how is this type of behavior allowed? Someone telling me to kill myself and the only form of reporting that Riot has is a small exclamation point at the end of the game with a box to describe the problem. Shouldn't there be something better than "send it and hope that someone does something about this"?

there shouldnt be a reporting system. like today's society,this game is full of a buncha whimpy crybabies who cant stand up for themselves. they just need to grow a pair.

First of all. I agree that there are a lot of assholes in the game. It will always be. I really lost hope on what Riot can do about it. But you should try and just deal with assholes.

First of all, you just said you gave up lane because of a tower dive that went wrong. You started farming jungle to get some farm. That's just wrong. Not only you're denying your jungler farm but also you're gifting their bot lane a free lane to farm push and get turret.

That's only strategical knowledge from the game.

Now lets get to the relevant point here. Morde/Alistar starts harrasing you in chat: Mute them. There, problem solved. You then go back to lane and if ali keeps engaging on tahm you ignore him/deal damage from the safest spot if possible. He'll realize he's not taking good trades and he'll stop. Or he'll just keep trading. That shouldnt concern you that much. Because you should now be focusing on your cs so you can get back in the game.

I'm pretty sure malph started harrasing you on chat only because you were power farming in jungler and doing nothing else.

So on that game and from now on, just mute every guy who harrasses you on chat. Or deal with it and keep playing because it doesnt affect you.

They can't like, have somebody sitting in observing every single game to moderate behavior and punish for it as soon as you reach post-game.

The system is working fine. Report them. The system WILL evaluate your report and take action as necessary. Just scroll through all the "i was banned qq" threads in this section if you need confirmation that the system actually works.
