Let us see if Riot punishment system works.

Good evening,

So today post game, I got called a Nazi for asking the jungler to get some vision and a sweeping lens. Naturally, I reported him and I am a 100% positive that calling someone a Nazi is a punishable offence. If I don't get a message saying that he has been banned then Riot has failed me and the community and it just shows how little they care about toxic players in the community.

just so you know, you are not guaranteed to get the pop-up notification when a player you report is punished, this is by design

“Nazi” isn’t much of an insult.

RIot is not entitled to give you a message that they have been banned, and if they are still playing, I would consider that play chat-banned. point being, Riot did not fail you, the messages are a courtesy to make people feel better.

Punishment system doesn't work. New accounts are too easy.

I'm pretty sure at any time you can refresh the Player Behavior Board and you are pretty much guaranteed to find several players complaining about their chat / perma-ban. 97/100 of those are easy to see from chat logs or the behavior from the poster to be well deserved.

Would a police officer not immediately pulling over someone for speeding be proof that the entire police system is a failure?

No punishment system based on behavior is going to be close to 100% accurate, especially one that focuses on keeping false positives low at the cost of higher false negatives.
