Let me make this clear, pretty much everyone gets an Insta down vote when posting about an actually problem but get 200+ up votes if you're bitching about riven yasuo LeBlanc zed or new champions that get released by saying "DAT IS BORKEN" or some shit like that, this community in a whole is pretty fucked sometimes, and go ahead and down vote me, prove me right.

Different boards, different crowds.

in the gameplay boards, it's quite simple:

complaining about champions draws in like-minded people who upvote because they agree

talking about "actual problems" tends to have different viewpoints or ways of thinking about it, even if they agree with you they might not agree with the points you make. That's why this tends to be not as brainlessly upvoted. That being said, there are several in-depth gameplay posts that have been upvoted, some of mine included. Not everything is about "omg leblank so brken plz nurf"

The PB&M board favors facts and knowledge. If you state a clearly wrong fact or statement, it's going downhill faster than 2016

what they need to do, is make it so you can't downvote, only upvote, either that or make it so someone has to comment on a post before doing either, that way people can't "drive by downvote"

There should be an option for the OP to make up/downvotes public, meaning that ppl can see who has down/upvoted the thread and the comments.

The anonymus status of the feature makes many idiots feel safe enough to just troll down/up a thread without the fear of being identified as trollers.

Sure, I'll prove you right.

Here. Have my gracious downvote.

What does this upvote / downvote business matter anyways?
