Hey guys, I'm gonna rant for a bit as this is an important subject to me, feel free to disagree/agree in the comments down below :) Also, this is a re-post as I didn't know name shaming wasn't allowed, so I deleted my old post and recreated it without the usage of the homophobic players name involved.

Today I encountered a player in the NA server. He was severely homophobic without anyone provoking him. He used some insensitive insults towards one of my teammates which involved being gay, so I then stood up for him and briefly discussed with him his views on gay men (This discussion was very quick as I did not want to ruin the game by talking). The moment I stood up for my teammate, he asked me "are you a gay boy trist?" (I said yes, because I am, but I also mentioned that it doesn't matter what my sexuality is, I just don't like people hating on others for no reason). I ended up just muting him and reporting after the game, once I got screen shots of his awful words. Anyways, here are some screen shots of the chat up there^^^, and I'd really appreciate it if Riot checked out his account and previous games, as I reported him at the end of the game. Also, those screen shots aren't of everything he said, I didn't want to waste too much time taking screen shots, so I just got the general idea for the pictures. I just want this community to crack down on homophobia, and to make this game inclusive to everybody, no matter who they are.

This is a P.S.A to all players, that if you see someone being severely homophobic, here's something you CAN do, even if it's a competitive, fast paced game: If you are in-game, and you don't have time for chat, you should just mute the homophobic person, and you can report them after the game. The report is really important, because it shows players that homophobia, and any other kind of hatred, is not accepted in this community.

I'm honestly sorry for writing such a long rant, and I know my opinions are NOT 100% correct (as everyone has different morals and things they stand for). This subject is very important to me, as there's quite a bit of homophobia online, and in the League community. I honestly don't care what this guy said to me in particular, because I'm mature enough to not care what some homophobic guy on the internet says about me. This posts main intention is to try to get the LOL community to become just a tinnyyy bit less homophobic, so it's a little bit more pleasant for EVERYONE

If you are wondering why I decided to add those photos to this post, it is because I wanted to show that homophobia is very real in the community, and that I'm not just basing all of this on nothing. If Riot decides that the photos are too explicit, I'll remake this post but without the photos. Thanks for reading this, if you've managed to read this whole thing that is impressive :) [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]

Why can't we just call it "prejudice" instead of making up words that make no sense?

phobic means "afraid" not "hateful"
