one thing i'd wish riot would change about the surrender thing

make it so you MUST press yes or no or you dont count. i usually dont surrender but ppl like to do it. i have it moved out of my screen as much as possible so that all i see is the "no" button. but it still annoys me when someone doesnt vote and that stupid thing is there for 60 seconds or so. if 3 ppl press yes and the other 2 just dont do anything. its a surrender. its 3 vs 0. its a surrender. this way i dare to say ppl will vote and i dont have to deal with this shitty window on my screen for 60 sec.

edit: or just remove the window after i made my choice. no reason to keep seing it.

If you abstain from voting, you aren't agreeing to a surrender.

However, I believe that the surrender window should disappear after you have made your vote.

It's just a needless obstruction and distraction.

That shitty window on the screen is a huge part of the reason why a lot of people don't vote, in the first place because they shift it off screen. When you have somebody on your team literally starting surrender votes whenever they come of "cooldown" that window can become a distraction and sometimes even massively screw up fights (imagine trying to click somewhere and just before you click the window pops up).

Don't get me wrong, I'm not entirely disagreeing with your idea (I still believe you should always require a majority of yes-votes; but 3-0 and 3-1 should pass), but before they do that, they need to make the voting window less intrusive. There have been plenty of good ideas on the forums to achieve that, but Riot sadly never picked up on them.

No, because I hate seeing the surrender window. It reminds me that my teammates don't think we can win, and my morale is higher when I just pull it off the screen. Then I can focus on the gameplay without being reminded by the 0-10 that we're losing.
