Players who troll and turn around playing innocent

Hey there fellow players, I just want anybody's opinion on this problem I've encountered and grown to despise over my time playing this game. Typical scenario: player unnanouncedly decides to troll, and when called out, laughs like a bitch and makes the teammates trying to do the right thing look like the fucking bad guys. I am fed up with players like this who think they can get away with ruining a game and essentially flipping off the actual good players, and being allowed to do this over and over with no punishment. i just don't understand why these players think they can get away with obviously unsportsmen behavior and then have the balls to turn around and call anyone who objects the fucking bad guys? What do you guys think?

Because they're free of worry.

Riot isn't perfect. They can't possible identify every single troll, and when they do, they don't remove trolls from the community right away. They give trolls chances to see if they improve their behaviors or not, and only after a while will they issue perma ban. Even then trolls would make new accounts to troll around. Once again, it'll take riot a long~ time before they identify the troll, which by then plenty of damage has already been done. Then they'll be given merciful chances to show they have the potential to behave, where they'll make use of those chances to deal more damage to the community before they're once again removed.

And the process repeats.

I recently had a match with one troll like that and started manipulating the opposing team to report the innocent players for shit they didn't do. Like fucking hell man, these guys are just straight up %%%%s. Why can't they just fuck off?

Riot is doing the best of their abilities to fix these issues of toxic players in general. As they update the tribunal they have to find a balance between deserving punishment and not going over the top with a player that was toxic a few times. And this would be extremely easy if they went case by case. However that would take years to get through all the reports. Hence, they look for spikes or an over all large amount of reports on a player. Through time Riot will figure something out. But until that golden era, we are left with what we have.

They only do it to upset you. Way to play into their game. :p Really though, it's just like with a child. For as long as the child can rile you up, they'll keep going. Ignore the child, suddenly the child is bored and moves on. Trolls are the equivalency of children. They don't want to believe it, but it's true. Besides, who cares what trolls think. They aren't important people.

What is being done with the new "Team Builder" and players trolling here players who take (Off Meta) supports / champions and cause games to get thrown, there was a game I just played recently where I had players do this shit in my game forcing me to have to go off meta as well to even try to play the game I did well during the lane phase, enemy jungle starts to camp though our jungler being a useless player doesn't counter jungle, steal their farm, or attempt to do anything useful just runs in my lane and gets the enemy fed.

I ask this in chat in game why they do this.

1.) Did you pay attention to enemy stats? 2.) Do you understand my Skills, Yours, and the Enemy champions? 3.) Do you have CC, or do I have CC?

I asked in chat why they did this?

If In doubt of ganking you should ask in chat I said, never got a response back at all, the guy just proceeded to harassment my chat about reporting me, and the rest of the team who also refused to answer who was the (CC) and who was the (Engage) all they do is run around jungle and ignore objectives, don't even group up early enough to even try for that.

Yeah there are trolls who do this crap, and hopefully it will show in the games without trolls that things do go a lot better when Riot reviews them from these idiots trolling the game.

Like there is absolutely nothing wrong with off meta, but it depends how your team is playing really.

Riot needs to come up with a way to address the players who do this crap in games like I understand the freedom to choose off meta stuff, or do it because I do it too, but some of the things I see lately are insane "Kogmaw Support" "Garen Support" come on?

And I think most of the players that I have had issues with are pre-made terms or friends playing with each-other and doing this stuff which just makes games feel and be more toxic.

I JUST had that in a ranked game. Guy picks ZIGGS support, and then intentionally feeds the enemy jhin with 6 kills, where as I'm in lane with a 2-1 KDA and nearly double his farm... til the trolling happened.

Riot is starting to become the company that's like "oh we have a great idea" but they are shit when it comes to implementing it. (See Hextech crafting). Am I going to get back the 18 points that I lost because of that player? Fuck no. And that's the reason why people intentionally feed. They get away with it, screw other players over, causing their anger levels to rise.. and riot doesn't even punish them AT ALL.

you know where the problem is? its the idiots who say: "please report X for trolling" when X is just having a bad game or a noob or what ever. this causes the actual trolls to do what ever they want unless they actually state that they are trolling.

your bot lane outer tower has already fallen, there is a pretty big wave going towards the inner bot turret and the ADC decides to safely farm by a slow push.

The support roams mid, sees that they are 4 man top and decides to fast push the mid wave with the midlaner. The mid laner frantically pings the support to back out, hoping for the support to not take CS and screams "get out of my lane", but the mid laner doesn't understand what the support is trying to do.

Instead of explaining to the mid laner the macro strategy, the support decides to just laugh and even starts taking CS.

So, who is the (unannounced) troll in this situation? the troll midlaner that doesn't understand the macro strategy, or the troll support taking CS?

Here's the problem, laid out, plain as day.

The issue resides around an individual who hasn't said anything verbal, but is physically game throwing. There's no evidence to prove that the individual is throwing the game, because they could possibly just suck at the game?

But then, you have somebody who's diligently trying, but announces that they're throwing the game, there's your evidence.

You see, if I was running the show, as somebody who's been playing moba games for a very long time. I would just lay down some relatively basic ground rules for ranked games, i.e. competitive gaming, and if people didn't want to follow the rules, ask them to leave, or tell them to.

But you can never get rid of this, because of how it generates revenue for the business. As someone in business, when you show up to work, you're usually thinking how can I further generate revenue for my business, and myself?

We don't want to let people who might suck at the game, or they're going to lose out on making money.

Because they can. Because Riot publicizes its success in dealing with toxic players, people get more excited and will find ways to get under your skin and put you in a position where you look like the toxic one.
