Is it punishable to use macros for spamming in chat ?

In one game the enemy team Garen (was using prob macros ,not sure,) to type one text really fast . So is it reportable ?

Idk about the macro, but I would guess spamming anything in chat enough is punishable.

not really, your just expected to mute them if its annoying you.
