@RIOT: Salty Nunu Hopes my Mothers gets Cancer and Dies? Sigh...

League of Legends Match History

ARAM has always seemed pretty chill to me.
I'm a 23-year-old consultant for a major healthcare network in NY, and a girl needs her downtime.. and League =) Possibly filling the stereotype, I main support and I'm damn proud of it - Got my level 6 Soraka!

So anywayyyy, after playing several ARAM games yesterday (I had the afternoon off from work ^^), I encountered the absolutely most toxic and salty Nunu literally ever in my experience, even worse than in Bronze hell, normals, etc.

****I've provided the link to this specific game in my match history. **

I was excited to have Karma for this game - been getting a good grasp on her lately. Meanwhile, after we all spawn to Howling Abyss:

Nunu : "Hey Teemo, fuck you!" Karma : testing the waters here, "Reported." Nunu : "Karma I hope your mom gets cancer and dies." Karma : actually stunned, "Srsly?... she already does" (sadly a true statement, I was hoping being serious might stop the salt) Nunu : "Good then she's a double cancer bitch!"

This was all before minions had spawned. And at this point I'm actually kind of upset and chatted with my team about it. Between both teams, we all said we'd report the Nunu after game - I rarely ever report players except in definite cases of abuse. Before our Teemo AFK'd, he told me Nunu had crossed a line and that I had good reason to be upset, but that we should still focus and have fun (then he DC'd lol).

So throughout the rest of the game, the Nunu still had some more salty things to say, though I don't remember them too well now. Eventually our Blitz AFK'd and we were down to three. But between my Karma and our Galio and Hecarim, we held our own surprisingly well until the bitter end. I can also proudly say that I carried what small amount of a team we had.

SO here's the point: When taking action based on reports, Riot will typically send a notification to the players who made the report within something like 15 minutes, stating that a recent report you made about a player has been reviewed, etc. A day later, I've not received any such notification, leading me to the conclusion that either:

  1. Riot did not actually review any of the reports made this game.
  2. Riot did review the reports and decided not to take action.

I know there's no Garen -tee, but I hope that @Riot might read this post and possibly provide me an explanation of the outcome of my report. Even still, it just feels good to vent even if just to the boards. If anything, this has at least taught me to just ignore the salt shakers in the League community - maybe there are more than I thought? But, like Lux I'll try to stay positive :)

Much love~~ [slayer-jinx-catface]

I don't think that this is necessary for the boards. Make a ticket with this situation and it will be dealt with. I've done it before in more serious reports and the player(s) were dealt with within 2-3 days. :)

On your points about riot, it is an Automated system, so they did neither of the things u suggested. Don't worry, toxic players will continue to be toxic and will eventually be banned. It's only a matter of time. You might just not get the "last hit" on the report. Your CS is too low.

DW if he was that toxic in one game then he probs gonna get banned soon since people are rarely ever toxic in just one game.
