why was I chat banned when nobody else was banned

I had a duo in game that was trolling me the entire game. I had repeatedly asked the top lane to stop stealing my jungle since the very start. He didn't respond to pings or chat. Then his duo partner started saying he was going to report me for being toxic and negative...

Here is the chat log.

in case you didn't know, the jungle is not strictly yours so taking farm from it is not illegal

being a harasser however IS

you'd be surprised but telling others about their "impending" bans is the most common phrase that pops up in chatlogs in these boards

Escalating the argument and feeding the trolls accomplishes nothing. If they refuse to listen to you, the correct response, both for your own sake and for the community's, is to mute, report, and move on.

And they may have been banned. You're not guaranteed notification if they are.

I looked at the replay of the situation as me being a Tryndamere main as well, made me really curious to see what this person was doing to upset you.

You claim he started doing this at level 1 when that isn't the case at all. the 1st camp he took was at around the 9min and 30sec mark. Which was where I stopped viewing the replay since you incorrectly claimed he was doing this since level 1 when what he was really doing was trading 1 for 1 and getting 1st blood in top lane at level 1. Which is enough for me personally to throw out your case about him Trolling you.

You do not "own" your jungle. The same way I don't own my minion wave when the jungler or mid laner comes into my lane and breaks the freeze because they don't understand anything about controlling waves. I don't say anything to them about it. I just silently accept that is how its going to be and work around the situation.

Another thing you need to understand is taking jungle camps is normal, Both NEACE and FoggedFTW2 who are both LoL coaches, both advocate the taking of jungle camps in quite a few situations. It is not trolling. it is a very good way to extend an EXP lead or even recover from a bad situation. I do it myself.

You mention your going to report the persons involved not once but 4 times which at that point makes it harassment. And most of your chat is of random unhelpful stuff that never needed to have been said. Especially if it isn't even 100% correct.

If someone _was _ indeed trolling you then you silently report them after the game is over. Nothing more.

The system punishes based on consistency x severity. Meaning it takes in account the behavior of all your past games, and when you pass a certain threshold of poor behavior, you get punished.

Others were not punished in the same game because no one has the same behavioral history as you. But of course, if they did happen to have the same behavioral history and patterns, they would be punished at the same time as you.

Jungle is no exclusive to jungler, Its actually a viable tactic so times. if he does it too much, just go farm on his lane
