I posted a discussion here, it was deleted, I was in the wrong sub-section apparently. Then i posted a boards feedback post about how i wasn't given an explanation of why it was in the wrong board with a link to my original (deleted) post. No explanation other than the bland automated it doesn't belong here message. My new post was removed from their as well and do you know what it told me? This post belongs in the player behavior and moderation board where i originally freakin started. One of the replies before it was taken down was "every post is checked by a real person before it's taken down" to which i have to call bs. Lets go in a circle one more time Riot.

You need to actually read your notification, as it probably says (for the original post) that it was removed for Name & Shaming.

Also, nobody but you and the mods can see your deleted post linked here. Even if we could, reposting deleted content will only result in it being deleted again if you didn't change what was wrong.

This ones going to get removed too unless you are actually talking about PB&M. Right now people just see a post about posts being deleted and nothing about player behaviour.

Probably, this is my life, 0 justice. It started about a player threatening to call in an anonymous raid to 2 different players houses. And there is no place to report that apparently. I had already reported him before he said these things post chat and there is no where to find justice for these things. I've seen the videos of peoples houses getting falsely raided over a disgruntled player and I don't want that to happen to me. I also don't anyone to have to fear that happening to them. However I feel there is no place to express these opinions or feel like Riot is doing anything about this.

You do realize posts that mention players are called Name and Shame. That's why your post was removed, not an incorrect board. You are not allowed to report or name players who are used in a negative light publically, it has to be done through a ticket.

How does this make sense? "name and shame" it rhymes so it must be upheld? Name and shame sounds like something kids at school would do to a slutty girl. The reality is this is about a player threatening illegal action against another.

This isn't my problem or rule. It is against the rules to publically call someone out on something they did.

The "Name and Shame" rule is there to prevent witch-hunting; accusations against one or more individuals that rile up a crowd who then might take matters into their own hands. The accusation may rely on faulty or incomplete information, but that often doesn't matter to a mob.

That's bad.

It's Riot's job to hand out punishments, and there are already two methods to report someone to Riot. The post game report feature and the support tickets.

Get people riled up? Since when has a video game chat room ever got anyone "riled"? OMG he was mean hey internet friends lets get him!!! Like really? If people think they have anonymity they think that they can do what they want. And when you have things like no "name and shame" that further fuels the I can do what I want and no one will know outside of this singular game. I'm not promoting "name and shame" but I do think it's a silly rule that perpetuates misbehavior instead of curbing it.

Name and shame leads to witch hunting. You know what witch hunting leads to? Swatting (which you claimed in a previous response is what you don't want to have happen to you), DDOS, and DOX.

What's the point of posting this player's name on the forums? What's your goal here? Because I really don't know. What is your end goal, other than to witch hunt.

A player threatens others with police raids. This is not about name and shame, this is about Riot not having a readily available way to report this behavior or edit their report while still on the after game screen. I reported the player for verbal abuse and unsportsmanlike but then he threatened the police raid stuff. Unable to edit my report and after searching the website high and low for where to report this behavior after the fact I made a thread about it. Which got deleted for "name and shaming" when I only asked what to do about it and used a screenshot as proof of my claims. The fact that proof is banned for "name and shaming" is ridiculous. This reminds me of women who get raped and are told to keep quiet about it. Don't out someone for what they did. The authorities will handle it. But what happens when he does it again in the meantime? I know it's a stretch but I've seen the police raid videos. I do NOT want that to happen to anyone in this community. Protect the abuser. Punish the victim. Good call.

I get your frustrated and probably have a lot of time on your hands.

First of all: Take a chill pill, no one is going to assist you when your in an aggravated state, cause regardless of opinion or criticism, you are going to see it as hostile feedback and push back negatively. Don't, take a minute, walk around, listen to a song (no heavy metal please) and then come back.
