What's unfair is that someone is toxic enough to merit a chat restriction and then still gets the same toys everyone else does.

Yeah, no. While it may seem harsh keep in mind that it takes a pattern of consistently poor behavior to even get a chat restriction. If anything being restricted from a highly competitive gamemode like Clash should be all the more reason to improve ones behavior and help drive the message home that poor behavior does in fact have consequences, at least in League of Legends anyways. To quote Umbral Regent:

No...? Why should dishonorable people get rewards or - more - participate in high-stakes competitive modes? If you crack under the pressure of Ranked play, what's it gonna be like when things go sour in Clash - a gamemode, which, by the way, is more competitive than Ranked play?

Setting the bar to entry at Honor 2 - the baseline Honor level for all accounts - ensures that the pool of competitive players in Clash is pruned of the most likely candidates for toxicity. There may still be some toxic players in Clash, but setting an Honor prerequisite ensures that those who were punished for (semi-)recent misbehavior don't bring their toxicity into a gamemode where people want - more than ever - to win.

As for End of Season rewards...Again, tell me exactly why dishonorable players should be rewarded? Sure, I can agree, it's a bit harsh for some folks who truly have reformed to just have to stew in silence because, despite their efforts and skill, they don't get their End of Season rewards, but, such is the bed they made themselves in the first place.

You've still got the rest of the year to climb back in honor ranks. If you want your End of Season rewards, earn it. Don't expect that your misbehavior isn't gonna have consequences.

First of all, buying accounts is against the rules, as it's considered account sharing. The punishment is often a permanent suspension from the gate.

Second; Why the hell would you buy an account in a Free-to-Play game? You could literally just make one, for free, and actually be allowed to keep that account.

I bet it is still pretty annoying for the players who get chat restricted for one word when responding to multiple insults of hate speech coming from players who never got punished. Especially when they got no warning and have never been punished on a 6-7 year old account or punished in any other game ever. There are countless cases where people get punished when they have never shown consistent patterns of "poor behavior".

There are a lot of these instances that are outright petty and stupid that prevent players from participating in rewards and events like these. I am honor 4 at the moment but it doesn't mean that I don't think the system is completely broken for ALOT of people.

More competitive? It's not even competitive, its same shit as 5s ranked when it was still alive and same as FLEX rank, just cus it cost to enter and riot made it seem more competitive doesn't mean its competitive at all.

Clash is definitely more competitive. The non-competitive minded teams are filtered out quickly in the first round

You could do without the insults and rank-shaming, y'know.

Besides, Clash adjusts its team brackets based on the team's overall Rank - meaning higher Tier players generally go against other higher Tier players, and vice versa. So, if a team is full of Bronze players, they'll be typically pitted against other Bronze players, meaning the difficulty should be appropriate for their Rank.

Pardon the digression, but Clash is meant to be for players of all Ranks. If a bunch of Bronze players want to square off against other players in the tournament, they are more than free to.

Besides, if it's not competitive enough for your liking, you don't need to play it either, if we're being honest.
