Report system too flawed

Here's one of the example that happened to me last game:

I'm level 18 so I play with other low levels right but my friend taught me how to play and I know that on a support you gotta control vision have wards pinks (especially against rengar in which it was the case last game). Now my support sona rushes morellonomicon (didn't even upgrade her support item to tier 2) because you know low levels sonas think supporting means just poking for damage in lane. Now i got ganked by rengar many times and my jungler baited me into fight many time in wich i got hard cc'd ashe arrow leona etc etc at that point I am behind and i just wanna farm. Zac dives all the way to 2nd tier turret at 7 minutes and starts blaming me for not following up which resulted in a snowball of hatred which got me a report by him. Later that game I am farming up other lanes so I can catch up into the game and they decide to fight and die and sona starts blaming me as well (also got 1 shot by rengar a couple of times since she refused to follow me and i was playing kalista so imagine the struggle of not having the stats of Oathsworn with you) now those 2 were mad at their mistakes but wanted someone to blame so obviously they target me with their insults and i muted them end of the story. But because of their mistakes and their tilt they still ended up reporting me and got one person on the other team to report me as well and we know that it's an automatic system so basically i might get chat restrictions and lose hextech drop rates because of things that are completely out of my hands and not my fault. Can we please do something so that people stop abusing the report system just because they are mad for losing and dellusional as to why since it's mostly because of them. Not only they make us lose with their tilt but get us in this toxic wheel of reports and there are many people i have seen on streams etc get punished when games were the reports were completely out of their hands and not their fault. Like I am not responsible if you don't understand that for example nunu is better at securing objectives and since you are low level you play for kills you get mad because nunu decides to focus on drags and you lose your lane (1v1) and start blaming nunu and report him just cause you're mad over your own mistakes that you project this hatred on others and we DO get punished because of them that is completely extremely flawed. Even if we report them back. Report system has to change so it doesn't get abused by these people it's too easy to press on the report button at the end of the game just to cause evil.

  1. For the love of god please use enter or bullet points or something please.

  2. That's not how the system works. If you do nothing wrong and get reported by 10 people, you are not going to be punished.

  3. /muteall is OP and will pretty much prevent any situation that could get you in trouble. You are not going to see what anyone says and that's gonna keep you from tilting.

  4. Yes your team is going to do dumb crap that drives you crazy even as you progress into playing with much more experienced people, it's just the nature of the game. If your support is rushing item 3165 politely ask them to just buy a item 2049 and get a item 3341. If they ignore you, fine whatever. Buy some item 2043 get the item 3341 yourself and just do their job for them. You were even playing Kalista that takes care of your vision problems right there.

  5. If you were harassing them for doing something dumb then you can get in trouble for that and honestly deserve it no matter how dumb your team was being. It's not ranked, there's no reason to take it that seriously to the point where you flame them for doing something dumb.

the report is only automated with chat reports. Unless you was harassing the people in your game their reports will be throw out. False reports are easily detected especially when it comes to chat reports.

Alright, so admittedly I only read about half of your post, but I believe I know what you're talking about. The matchmaking system is rather skewed for players Bronze 1 to level 1. You can be placed with people who are obviously out of your league, and at the opposite end of the spectrum with people who don't even know what warding is. I've played with people from all over the tiers from bronze 5s to challengers on 3 separate occasions. Don't be discouraged though, as you climb in levels and eventually get to 30 things will start to get much better. The system will be able to gauge not only your skill level, but the skill level of your peers. Also as far as toxic player goes, bronze and pre30 are extremely toxic so my advice is as follows. At the first sign of toxicity either ignore them until they persist to an unacceptable level or simply mute them before that point. The absolute last thing to do against them is flame back, as I promise you don't want to go down that path. (I just read a terrible post from a player of the same likes you're struggling with atm)

A final note; "because you know low levels sonas think supporting means just poking for damage in lane" That's about all sona's currently capable of. :p

Happy rifting, even if it doesn't seems like it at times. Persist, and you'll make it out of the majority of stupidity and toxicity.
