If you go to the grocery store and put items in your pockets, you can't be surprised if people think you're stealing. After all, it looks like you're stealing.

Similarly, if if looks like you're telling people to kill themselves, why would you be surprised if people think you're telling people to kill themselves?

Telling "kys" is never a joke. Letting someone to kill themselves is not joke.
