Might make people play Support more

Giving a reasonable ip boost to playing the support role would make me queue for it more often. I don't mind being autofilled, but would like some undeserved gratification. I repeat, undeserved gratification.

What it would actually do: Player X queues for support then forces his way to another role just to gain an IP boost. Player Y queues for support but plays like a carry taking CS, kills and not buying support items.

Overall the idea is not a good one.

Riot already has an implementation to know whether you're playing a support role or not xD

I have 13 rune pages, every single champ, almost every rune, and nearly 8k of IP just sitting around. Giving me more IP isn't going to want to make me queue as support.

Most players today are silver and don't own every champ. Congrats my man, you're like the rest of us. I'm simply making a statement to make new players want to play support more.

I'm just saying, players like me and my friend who have been playing League for 5 years at this point, don't really give a shit about IP. I think there's a more systemic problem of, support is just boring to play. It's gotten better, but it's still, for many people at least, a really boring role to play.

In pro play, I would argue that Support is much more important than it is in solo queue because the Support is usually one of the shot callers in pro play. In solo queue, support is basically landing some sort of CC or heal and warding. Supports are always behind in levels, have the least amount of gold, and overall, usually some of the weakest characters to play on SR. To me, that makes the support role not fun. If Riot wants me to play support, make supports fun to play.
