Might make people play Support more
Giving a reasonable ip boost to playing the support role would make me queue for it more often. I don't mind being autofilled, but would like some undeserved gratification. I repeat, undeserved gratification.

What it would actually do: Player X queues for support then forces his way to another role just to gain an IP boost. Player Y queues for support but plays like a carry taking CS, kills and not buying support items.
Overall the idea is not a good one.
I have 13 rune pages, every single champ, almost every rune, and nearly 8k of IP just sitting around. Giving me more IP isn't going to want to make me queue as support.
