A ban/suspension should only take place due to >CONSISTENT< bad behavior, not because...

Your team and the enemy team decide to act like A-holes and 9x you for no good reason, and the system automatically flags you and puts you on a chat suspension.

I experienced this today and honestly I am very frustrated; we all tilt sometime but just because someone has a single bad experience doesn't mean he should be punished immediately (let alone the many worse players who get away with what they're doing...). And this crap becomes even more annoying when you're playing jungle because you know, EVERYTHING is the jungler's fault right? You give your laner a lead then he dies twice in two minutes and starts flaming you... well I can't say anything back because Riot will suspend me yay!

It's common sense, the first time you park your car wrong they're not going to revoke your entire driving license, give it some time. Mistakes happen, but for the love of god change this reporting system it's so silly.

9 reports is the same as 1. Also, it isn't based off one game unless you flame extremely bad or use hate speech/kys.

Punishments are based on severity and/or frequency.

If you have a REALLY bad infraction, it doesn't matter that it's only once in a blue moon. You need to be punished so that you know that your behavior is unacceptable.

To constantly let people slide for bad behavior only creates an atmosphere of "I can be a horrible harassing troll every once in a while and never get punished" and it encourages toxic behavior.

Treat it similar to the real world, you wouldn't get in somebody's face yelling at them swearing and threatening without anything happening to you.

Based on the suspension explanation I got, the chat log referred to the exact same game I just played moments before the suspension, so no I refuse to believe that 9 reports is the same as 1 flag-wise. It makes no sense anyway if they flag games like that. Which game is more suspicious, the one with 1 single report or the one with 9 reports? Common sense.
I said nothing too severe, and as a matter of fact before that game I got shards and stuff because of honors and sportsmanship and I regularly receive those on a daily basis. How could you get those right before, and get suspended right after because of one game? Unless you say something very horrible, but I DID NOT. The freaking chat log is there, no hate speech, no kys, no hard flaming, none of that. I have opened a ticket as well.
To say that I'm looking into trolling and being toxic once in a while hoping for it to slip... sorry but I won't accept this insult. This is not how I play this game.

So please before you jump on the blaming wagon, you could have at least asked for the details. And I didn't yell, not a single phrase I typed in caps lock.

Could you show the chat log of the game where you got banned from ? With all the other names blacked out so you don't get moderated btw. [slayer-jinx-wink]

@Chrystalian: How could I do that please, as the chat log from the other players aren't there. It's only my chat and on it's own it will be interpreted out of context. For example, if I say "Shut up", well it's an offense on it's own, but what if it was a reply to someone who is making horrible jokes about your race and constantly harassing you in-game? Sure muting is the best option I know but still, replies need context.

@YerroFever: Sorry but based on my experience and numerous other facts the report system is dysfunctional and a mere report won't do anything unless you get heavily flagged like a 9x report and some random toxic words there and boom, you're suspended. But if you troll hundreds of ranked games and say nothing, you will slip (the video went viral a few days ago from Korea IIRC). Or If you go Singed support with smite and yet win or even carry, you get banned... what has been consistently seen is that the multitude of reports followed by some niche elements in chat logs has been core material for riot reviewers (bots or real) to punish players and this is just a horrible system. They can say or claim whatever they want, I care about the results of their system only.

Help me figure out how I can post the entire chat log including the other players and I will post the entire thing here.
