Well I would insert the screen shot, but apparently that's not an option and I am too lazy to host it somewhere. Basically, the player told me that "idgaf if I get reported. It's not like Riot will do anything about it." That is about the 20th time I've seen that this week. Likely more, but I don't stick around in the post game chat usually because people are usually awful to each other. It's true... I have only had Riot respond to my reports twice. And there have been MULTIPLE death threats, homophobic or sexually aggressive and assaulting comments, just awful things said in chat. Nothing ever happens.

You only get that notice if you were the LAST person to report them before the punishment. Which is to say, if you've gotten two of those notices in a week, you've run into some really awful players and you have my sympathy.

But I would invite you to take a glance at this forum as a whole. Very few people post on the forums. The ones that do are often the most edge cases on the neutral side (as opposed to toxic side). You'll see a whole bunch of people talking about their bans and chat restrictions. I promise it happens.

If you took 10 seconds to look around the boards here, you would see that people get punished all the time. Just mute and report these players. They'll get what they deserve eventually if they really deserve it. In my experience you rarely ever hear directly from Riot that people you report get punished, but it happens nonetheless.

I don't fear Riot's punishment system. Lyte has made it extremely weak. I flame people all the time and have never been banned/suspended or had chat restrictions.
