I was playing with a player who was generally a negative player and toxic to both teams, but when almost everyone in the game reported him he did not get banned. (I know this because when someone does get banned a notification will tell you that a player you recently reported was banned), and again more recently the same thing happened and this player again did not get banned. What I am curious about is why dunkey said one thing (I'm not saying what he said was right) and he gets banned but these players who said similar things did not.

Just to clarify a few things.

First how many people reported him doesn't matter, only that he was reported in that game. You do not always get a notification when someone you report gets punished, only when it is the final straw for them. Dunkey was not banned for saying one thing. He was banned for an extensive history of negative behavior and the "one thing" most people think he got banned for wasn't even the final offense that triggered his punishment.

Punishments are typically based on a patterns of behavior, not single incidents. Unless they are especially severe. You reported them, you did your part. Those people aren't worth anymore thought than that.

Usually it takes several offenses to trigger a ban. For instance you won't necessarily get a ban for the first time you're toxic in game, but by the 5+ time some bans/suspensions will come rolling out.

Simple because riot cares about making sure that their toxic prepubescent community isn't offended by words no matter how moronic they are. You wanna know how to get somewhere in this game?? Do no play solo que. Do not use chat ever. Do not play with kids with the mental acquity of a sloth. This community is at least 75 % morons as evidenced by these chat boards

Just today I was permanently banned because I had a 3 man trio queue in my solo queue ranked match. They all reported me and harassed me all game regardless of me ignoring them and not provoking them. They also got the other team to report me. I ended up getting 9 man reported and permanently banned. Even though during the game I was harassed by my team and the other team. I one shot the enemy jinx and her response to it was typing this to me in all chat, "fuck you anivia", "im reporting u", "enjoy the 9man report hahaha idiot ahhaha". Now I have no account to play on.

I also posted a thread in this forum including my chat logs. I really wish they showed what the other team was saying as well as my team. I was cussed at and verbally harassed and even had racist remarks thrown at me. The notification is actually for punishment, and only triggers if your report was the final one
