The pros or idk people who say climbing bronze, silver isn't that hard if you carry, keep a cool attitude, and so on. Yes I know Im not the best, but I do have times where i would carry my team and really have a nice game play and it was fun... and I my team would honor each other and enjoy the victory... then suddenly playing a next game, everything was going smooth in my lane until my teammates in the other lane suddenly starts feeding consistently and afk. **WHYYYY I KEEP HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I NEVER BEEN TOXIC OR EVEN SAID ANYTHING NEGATIVE I HAD LOTS OF FUN WITH MY TEAM MATES. **anyways sorry I'm ranting over here because I really want to to point it out. BUT for real I really don't understand how and why I end up with teams like that. My past game is win-lose-win-lose-win-lose and its funny because the losing games were team who feed and leave game [it is under 5-15 minutes of game]. It may be me who suck but I don't remember feeding and afk and being toxic at all. Also keep in mind because I actually tried my best to not negative but the past 20 games and so on was really making me question why I'm holding in my negativity or should I just get better. I'm complaining and it shows that I'm a noob to some peeps but I really want to point it out because its really something that need to fixed. Having teams who just feed and afk really really makes game so hard. I Hope the new rank system will separate people like them with people who are trying there best but stuck. I believe this is how people learn to be toxic and be depressed. Which causes more afk and trolls. But I understand players skill could affect others attitude so like i said hopefully the new rank system make it better. > MY GOAL IS TO BE IN PLAT BEFORE THE NEW SEASONS STARTS [sg-shisa] >

QUESTION. Do I need to improve my skill or do I need friends to do rank to get out of silver? or just be better?

Aim for personal perfection. Last hitting, wave management, knowing when to engage, disengage, pushing lanes appropriately, warding appropriately, predicting enemy movement based on the state of play, and most of all, treating the game like a game of chess. Cold, calculating, emotionless. Be the carry.

Whoever told you that it's easy they are lying. What I get annoyed by are players that had a better inclination towards this game were able to achieve higher status such as gold, plat, even diamond in the past with VERY FEW games played. People that I think hasn't really allow their MMR to settle, but ofc they act all high and mighty...

Good news though, I've followed a few people like that, out of spite and hatred tbh, and discovered that each season they end up ranking lower as everyone else get better.

Sadly their toxicity also increases, I even suspect a few of them on my F list are now perma banned.

Good riddance.

Bronze/Silver is about map awareness. You get that and you will win more games. Whenever I have an account in silver from placements (new account) I literally mute all and focus on split pushing. Learning when to split, what lanes to stack minions on, when to rotate toward your team and most importantly when NOT to rotate to your team is the easiest way to climbing. I'd suggest you play Tryndamere Yorick exclusively for a while and you'll climb right out of that cesspool.

Silver to plat is a big goal, but definitely achievable. The most important thing is to set yourself solid goals that put you on that path. Not rank goals (those come and go based on a lot of factors), but skill and gameplay goals.

Maybe it's limiting your champ pool (3 or less is a good spot to be at for your main role, 1-2 for off role), upping your cs (8-10 per min), winning lane more often (not just first tower but also gold lead), or lowering your deaths (3 or fewer a game will really help you climb, and was my goal when hitting diamond). Improvements like this are tangible goals that you can review replays and such to improve on, and lead to you getting that nice shiny plat border.

Also, lots of games. Crappy as it sounds, sometimes you just have unlucky times. 3 trolls in a row. Top laner whose VPN'd in from the moon with 3k ping. Adc who thinks they're a tank, whatever it is. And they're losses. Keep your cool, statistically they'll be on the other team more than yours (as long as you aren't that person), but you have to play enough games for that to happen.

I believe the source of toxicity and depression in regards to league, is a flaw in ones personality, where they focus and put emotion into things that are outside of their control. Its not learned. Its a lack of being learned. Their parents didnt teach them how to manage their emotions.
