Chat restrictions

I am sure I am in the minority, but does anyone else like getting chat restrictions? I'm pretty much always on, or almost on them, and I actually find the game more enjoyable when on them. Now one might rightfully ask, why not just be the way you are on CR, when you aren't on them. The fact is, I am going to flame I'd you are first timing in ranked and doing horribly. I accept the argument that it doesn't help the team, or the flamee's performance. However, neither does first timing a champ in ranked. The only difference is that one is easily picked up, and the other is passively encouraged.

I guess my point is, chat restrictions really aren't that bad, and Riot should look more into soft trolling and how to report/detect it. They seem to be pretty good at covering the verbal aspects.

Horrible counter. "Sure i'm making it alot worse, but it was already bad!".

Riot probably isn't working so much on the chat related IFS. They ARE working on the feeding detection, but it's virtually impossible to detect. They don't want to overtune it so that bad players are punished the same as inters.

How mad does it make you that you are a) at the bottom of the ranked ladder and b) there are people out there just fucking around with champions they've never played who are on the same level as you are.

Right now you're at 45% winrate in 80 games with Bard. You lose more games than you win. Looking at your stats it doesn't look like winning is your priority since you would have played one of your better champions. So why would you complain about people trying out new champions in ranked games when you yourself are unwilling to do everythin g you can to improve your chances of winning?

You can pseudo chat restrict yourself by minimizing chat and disabling the enter key.

Does nothing to curb the "soft trolling". Does keep your own chat records clean though.

Recognizing and punishing "soft trolling" is very hard for Riot.

Also, where in my op or elsewhere did I mention anything about "just having a bad game"?

What I mentioned was taking a champ you don't play in a role you don't play.

I don't understand why they chat restrict me. How am I supposed to describe to a player destroying my game exactly what a trash bag he is if I'm limited to only five lines? I need at least double that to describe his mental incapacity and incompetence. Plus I need several more to make clear to him how he can improve the game and the world by describing various ways he can go about ending his own life.
